FTSE continue to rise rise.....Europe is green...Seems the jobless claims numbers did not affect much....

Just a note that there are two news out there where PNB will be raising lots of money.....

Amanah Saham 1Malaysia = $10 billion
Amanah Saham Malaysia = $1.5 billion

Hence I would expect those who not in stock market will inject another $11.5 billion into our PNB who will then again proceed to prop our KLCI to 1200...

$1.5 billion will be released on 21 July with 20k limitation per investor and open to all on 27 July.

Never see you around before, so welcome. Hope LYN forum will provide you good insights and make lots of profits.

Here is my two cents worth, and really only my opinion.

PBBank counter is really a solid counter. It held steady even when prices went down in March. It did not really break $7.00 and after that continue to rise.

I started buying the counter when it was at $8.30. I average up (yes, you can average when prices are going up too) at $9.20 last week.

Today already $10.00. I love this counter.

So, in particular to PBBank, you can start somewhere. Don't "sai lang" everything into it one go. Maybe buy small lots, 1/2/3 and then if the price drop, you can average down. Unless you have lots of cash and and average at higher lots, you may want to make big initial purchase.
If the price go up, you MAY choose to average up. You are still getting the price appreciation benefit too.

You need to have a strategy. Don't just rush in to the counters or markets, but study carefully first. There are lots and lots of sifus in this forum i am sure will share with you.

Yup...Sapcres run up last week from 1.40 to 1.64 today...You are looking at nearly 20% up.
Whereas Sealink after ex last week stick at 0.68 for one week. It should reach 0.80 tomorrow, but please don't follow my prediction...

ASM up for sale from 21 July to 27 July, limited to 20k per investor.

After 27 July, open to all.

Now a person willing to buy at 10.10 now will have more choices at 10.02, 10.04, 10.06 and 10.08. Imagine so many ticks to break to be at 10.10. Similarly, selling q will be so many different ticks.

But really, if someone is willing to take all the q from 10.00-10.02-10.04-10.06-10.08-10.10 it will still move as fast if from 10.00 to 10.10 right?
