I don't think that's possible. this stock is heavily overbought over the past 3 weeks.

a few technical indicators:
RSI's hovering at about 83% at the moment.

MACD's bullish cross happened a few days after it rebounded on it's 50day MA about a month ago. The stock rose about 20% after that and never fell back.

Immediate resistance at 3.72, next resistance after that @ 3.93.
Immediate support @ 3.20 (classic support)

That's purely from a TA point of view. If this rumour is true, we can effectively throw TA out of the window. laugh.gif

hi sry to ask...im still new to stock exchange..may i know what does RSI stands for?
*
Relative Strength Index smile.gif
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relative_strength_index

think of it this way. an RSI of below 30% indicates the stock is oversold. above 70%, it's overbought.

then again, TA is something where I feel most of the time the indicators have to line up just for it to give a strong buy/sell signal. most times there might be an indicator that tells you to buy, but another indicator that tells you to sell. Hope that helps, not that I'm any good at TA laugh.gif

looks like, in these past few days, FBM KLCI rallied but second/third liners didn't budge much.

not really a good barometer anymore right?
we need something like an S&P 500.

yes, I think we need.
Coz majority of us have 2nd/3rd liner. So maybe Rich n Poor 100? (R&P 100)

KNN that sealink - should cut lost at 0.76 that day, then buy back.
That means even at 0.76, its actually 0.795 (plus the earned dividend)

my average is 0.815
*
wah, that's quite a high price my friend. blush.gif good luck!

a few indicators for everyone to see.

RSI's currently overbought at 76.9%
the chart broke the upper bollinger band on the 15th of July, which was the same day it broke the 70% RSI level.

Looking for signs of weakness and reversal now. A doji or a spinning top. drool.gif

How come it will still rise though volume is small?

How come it won't cause panic selling when the volume is small?
*
low volume means a majority of the investors are still on the sidelines and watching due to bearish sentiment. Panic selling.. i think won't happen lah, because the only sellers will be contra/day traders trying to recover their positions. Long term players are still holding on if they bought in late April or May.

My logic is, do you think Najib will want to try suicidal attempt to tarnish his name? He definitely wants everyone to feel good, so supporting KLSE using your EPF money is one of the way. But when coast is clear, everyone else - aunty, uncle will buy buy buy like no tomorrow, while we all started to throw to them. So the market will go heated up, and the rise. But not any indication to ask anyone to buy or sell now, just my opinion that no matter what happen elsewhere, no FF will throw at insanely cheap price. So, even if a drop, there is still hope for KLSE to sustain some level, at least not crashing down.
*
rule of thumb. SELL ALL when uncle auntie start to sailang. brows.gif
