Hello guys,

Here's some updates on GO.Esc provided by Jasmine Low, managing director of Go.

Registration for Dreamhack Malaysia Qualifier (CS 1.6) and GO.ESC has been officially opened. Log on to http://www.indieyouthfest.com for more information.

At this moment, they are working hard to add more games for qualification to Scandinavia (you know where tongue.gif). So, watch this space.

As for other games, don't fret yet as they are conducting negotiations with the publisher to include more game titles in GO.ESC.

Again, watch... this.. space! biggrin.gif

So about the casual gaming section, does it held on the date of CS 1.6 state qualifier or something as well? :]

Might be interested to join from Sarawak.
*
I try to get back to Jasmine if there's any state qualifier from Sarawak, Johor or Penang.

*
Currently they're in negotiation with SMM, so as usual, watch this space wink.gif

Hi guys,

This is the update that I've found from DreamHack Winter 2009.

Personally, from my own view, we have to wait for more games to be announced before Go.ESC can make any decision to include more games for qualifier for DreamHack.

More games to come as we wait for any confirmation from Go International Group.

hello there .. how come the date for the Johor qualifier haven't been announced yet ?
*
Speaking of Johor qualifier, may I know how many teams in Johor are interested to join the Johor qualifier? Sources said that there might be not enough teams to compete in Johor Bahru

For the teams who haven't registered your teams, please click on this link to register your teams:-

DreamHack CS 1.6 Qualifier Registration Form.

For the other games, feel free to click this link to register yourself for other games:

whats going on, no new updates. i have a bad feeling about this. same thing happened 2 wcg, hot in the beginning when it was first announced, then went silent and look what happened now.
*
As far as i'm being told, they are cooling down for fasting month, and will be at Kuching for the next qualifier on 3 October.

JB qualifier might be scrapped off if there are lack of teams there and will be replaced by another qualifier in KL.

I try my best to get the news from them as soon as possible. Keep all of you posted about this.

fasting month's over. and i think why very little teams registered for jb quali is because the date wasnt announced. there are ppl who are willing to travel, but they need to know the dates early so plans can be made.
*
I know, since they wanted to know how's the response from JB. They even asked Ks Cybercafe (if i'm not mistaken) to get the participants. So far, only one team registered online for JB qualifier. That led to the possibility of JB qualifier might be scrapped.

With WCG is on this weekend, it gonna be a serious hell of month for gamers sleep.gif'

So, kch's qualifier round is over for CS, now wad's next? tongue.gif
*
AhBzaiFTW, they have decided to cancel Johor qualifiers due to unforeseen circumstances.

Well, since Kch's qualifier is over, the next stop will be FTZ.Asia Subang on the weekend. The final chance to qualify for DreamHack would be at 1 Utama, days before the GrandFinal itself.

TPK,

Are you part of the organising team for DreamHack??  hmm.gif
*
Er, not an organizing team. SpotGamers is the official media for DreamHack Malaysia biggrin.gif

Added on October 8, 2009, 9:29 pmGuys, this is a very important announcement

FTZ.ASIA SUBANG WILL BE THE FINAL QUALIFIER FOR DREAMHACK

Which means 4 teams will qualify from this qualifier, joining the other 4 teams who have qualified previously (2 from Penang and 2 from Kuching)

And please take note that with that decision, the planned 1 Utama Qualifier has been CALLED OFF.

I will update the news at SpotGamers and this is an official news. Thanks smile.gif
