try double tap at top left corner.. bar that showing signal strength.... it should come out with option for u to choose

i think that would void warranty.. if you file your camera lens.. wonder is it posssible to fix a cloth beneath the blue plastic....

yes... it would void warranty... u can get a tiny film and slide it ... there is a guide... but i forgot where i put it.. lol

anyway, my n97 dun have scratch... tq god

Guys, I just finished installing a bodyguardz onto my n97, and it looks great!
I'll upload some pics later, now it is still in recovery mode.
By the way I have 1 set of bodyguardz left, but the spray has finished. So who wants?

Planning to get this phone by next week. Yay!

Used to have e71, but the lack of camera power is hazardous for me, so changed to n82 and had been satisfied.

Some questions:

1. Does the phone web browser has the option for full view instead of mobile view? So that I can surf LYN without its horrible mobile interface.

2. How would you compare the camera power with n82? The video would obviously be more awesome of course.

3. I read about this phone being scratch resistant. Being a clumsy person, I need to know does this claim kinda true to actual people in here?

Hope you guys can answer it. I am getting it anyway, since its my dream to have a qwerty phone with good camera.

3. it suppose to be.. but somehow there are hairline scratch which is very unnoticable... they did try using keys to scratch it but during the test no scratches... so i guess to be on the safe side.. just put one screen protector on...

I have a white 1 for 2 weeks already!! Love it even more than my G900!! But i do notice scratches on the camera lens.. Do NSC change them? at a cost or FOC? Btw still exploring it. hehe

my n97 hang on me... at NOKIA startup... now its in NCC for bout 2-3 days. darn....

my phone is stuck at the white nokia logo screen, can anyone help?

was working fine all day and decided to recharge it tonight and it wont turn on.

not using any micro sd card, pulled out sim and batt and try to restart but still stuck

Boy, the phone sure has too many faults. With the camera scratches and hang problems now im not sure whether i should get it.

i hate the fact that when i switch from wlan to gps. all the application connected to the internet fails on me! I've been trying ways to make it realiable - frustrating to close all the application and reboot the phone n open back the application. i'm now testing on running with different custom "destination" in the connection manager. 1 outdoor with only maxis gps, 1 home with wifi. anyone have any success with this?

Got a feeling that the camera scratches problem would make the phone being recalled. Maybe I should wait a month or two before buying the phone.

somehow i really think NOKIA having more and more quality problem....

perhaps.... we should start to learn to love Samsung , iphone .....

waiting them to come out with a more stable firmware.. and if my lens get scratched... ....... i swear this will be my last NOKIA phone, and i will share my story to all my frens.. NOKIA u r doomed..

Saw some of you guys face problems with N97...

Some of you guys say lens scratched.. The lens scratched or the lens cover??? Just want to make sure...

Planning to get one later on my birthday but reviews not very supportive....

Me too, been reading the reviews since it launched, and feel quite worried about the cons...
Many ppl have to do reset / flash which I don't really like to do to my phone.

I plan to buy from LYN trader, but wonder they will have the latest firmware installed, cos i noticed most of the problems is due to the old firmware.

Also, I like the White N97 very much, but heard that it will become yellowish after certain period of time.

And for the price, seems like it's getting lower & lower. Wonder if it will drop to RM2000nett soon
