close all ur background apps. do hard reset if the prob persists.

u could try the *#7370# which is only a soft reset..

if u wanna wipe ur C drive, refer to this image http://img8.imageshack.us/i/hardresetn971.jpg/ press the keys circled in that image n shut down n restart ur phone without letting go of the keys. this will delete everything except anything in the mass storage.

I just did a hard reset on my phone and it now has around 50mb phone memory left. Now it executes apps/ files much faster.

Btw for those who don't know how to hard reset ur n97,
turn off your phone then hold these buttons : Shift + Spacebar + Backspace and turn it on.

Warranty is provided by the shop that he bought. If he doesn't have the warranty card, then you have to pay ALOT of cash to send the phone for repair.

Guys, after I have done a hard reset on the phone and restore to previous settings, I couldn't connect to the internet.

I tried connecting to my home wireless point, after it connected, the wireless icon is on the top right corner, but when I touch on it, it is nothing there, just a n icon floating around.

When I go to the Connectivity, the wireless point stated known, but it should states connect if I am on the line. I click on connect again. Message I got from the phone is "WLAN connection already active. Please close and try again".

I couldn't close any connection because when I click on top right corner, I see nothing on it.

Besides, when i try access to the internet directly from the homepage by clicking the icon of Internet > 1 of the web page in my phone > Messages I got from phone are "Connection not available" and "Web: Unable to perform operation".

I do not have any problem regarding this issue before i do the hard reset. Hope you guys may help me on this. Thanks

The warranty is provided by the shop under Zitron or Avaxx. My bad, should state it clearly. But make sure the warranty card is from either both Zitron or Avaxx. Anyway, how much he trying to sell to u?

Make sure you check the phone. 1 week for Rm1800 is too cheap (unless it's AP set).

Have you tried the following?
Menu → Settings → Connectivity → Destinations → Internet
Do you have any access point in there?
If not, maybe you can try go to:
Menu → Apps. → Sett. Wiz.
then create a new Access point setting there...

It's quite weird you said you can't disconnect an active WLAN connection?
If you go to:
Menu → Settings → Connectivity → Connection Mgr.
There is an option that let you disconnect your active connection.

Just try... try this... try that... laugh.gif

If you really, still can't find any solution to this,
why not do another reset of your phone, then do not restore your
previous settings
. Do it all over again, I think that should correct
the problem... blush.gif

this one i think you need to disable the "automatic find for wireless network" at the wi-fi settings..
