Morning LYN forumers~ hehe.. juz bought AOC 2434PW 23.6" from hikari yesterday.. great seller! 9.9/10.. would give her 10 if she COD herself with me.. LOL.. brows.gif
attend to all of my questions, and yes, answers are as expected.. no twisting or misleading answers.. two thumbs up for u!! thumbup.gif

so here's my review for this model;
Built-quality/Design: (8.0) The monitor panel itself look cool but the base platform(or there's a proper name?) is not really good to look at. The "fins" behind the monitor (to cover the ports) are useful for a tidy cable management although it feels plasticky.. Adjustable height, tilt left-right and up-down. Tilting up and down is a little difficult.

Display quality: (9.0) Not really sure how to really judge the quality of the display but it's definitely better than my previous monitor (Sammy 226BW.. or something like that which costs around 1200 2 years back). My 360 games look great and the 2ms response time really impress me when I play fast-paced FPS games like COD!

Accessories/Features: (8.5) D-Sub and HDMI port, external power supply, built-in stereo speakers(line-in only) HDMI cable, D-Sub cable, HDMI to DVI converter, audio cable (male-to-male) and of course the booklets and CD as well. Not much difference than others except the FREE HDMI cable. No DVI port.. what the.. HDMI-DVI converter included.. dun worry.. but if you have a 360 and a PC to hook up to this monitor.. you need to downgrade either one to D-Sub.. the speakers are so-so only.. not to expect much.. but no line-out? not sure whether other model have line-out or not but I need it when I plug my 360 in with HDMI and I need output to other speakers.

Funtionality: (9.0) The OSD is great. Many preset settings and of coz it can be manual too.. smile.gif There are no buttons on the panel for the OSD control. It uses touch-sensitive control and it's awesome. Nothing much to explain here, satisfaction guaranteed~

Value/Price: (10) RM685 with HDMI cable included, a bang-for-buck for sure. 3 years Zero Dead Pixel warranty?? That's not all!! On-site warranty too. Buyer says that the warranty works like this; 1. Call service center - 2. Free courier service to collect from your place - 3. After fixing/warranty is done, they send you back your monitor! Sure boh?? We'll see when mine K.O.! Worth every cents!

Overall: (8.9) for the product.
Overall: (9.9) for the seller.
