With stock voltage also can go a bit further right? At least more than 3.0.

how come ur default is 1.4v.. i though 1.3v..
if yes.. that's not stock vcore..

set the max as 1.5v don't surpass it at the moment..

the vcore u set as auto or u set the certain value?
hmm..i tot athlon shud be more energy eff compared to phenoms...i donno what is the default but 1.4 i guess not default...

What utility do you use to set the vcore, ratios and FSB ??

Do you do it in the BIOS or use the AMD Overdrive utility ?

3d card : Sapphire 2400xt 256mb
PSU : Cap ayam

is this advisable for overclocking?

my pc is on 24/7 for downloading.. i installed 1 fan in there..

30% air conditioning 30% fan 40% no fan/air cond

will my pc explode?

nahh...
not explode leh

if only for dloading y bother OC?
that proc can do atleast 2.7 with stock vcore...

but again... if now u scared it explode, when u OC, u will have to worry more leh... (actually OC also will not kaboom ur PC )

i wouldn't mess w/ oc while usin cap ayam psu, especially for torrent rig. d worst thing could happen is d psu get burnt then it drags other components like hdd (*which i assume d most precious thing) or others together to hell. sweat.gif

change to a decent (not necessarily high end & expensive) psu then ur good to go... nod.gif

btw, nice balls there... drool.gif

Sorry, Off topic, to save power, I use my NAS open 24/7, DLINK DNS-323 with 500Gb hard disk with Transmission (linux bit torrent client ) and a web or window Transmission gui client to view/control the torrent downloads.. so no need to keep the PC on 24/7..
