yup, it's pointless to go for gfx mark as CPU is d competin point. OS must be standardized too. xp ftw...  nod.gif
*
Probably will do;

CPU-z
SPI
3DMark 2006

Of course will mandatory standardize the OS and the HDD...also the amount of software in the PC when OC..... whistling.gif

which one temp i need to trust?
cpu temp under 100% load.
Temperatures
CPU 60 °C (136 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #1 51 °C (122 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #2 51 °C (122 °F)

CPU 60 °C (136 °F) <-------- temp read by mobo
CPU #1 / Core #1 51 °C (122 °F) < ----------temp read by CPU itself
CPU #1 / Core #2 51 °C (122 °F) <---------------same..it 2nd core.from cpu

and u dare to put 1.4vcore with apache cooler? and that vcore is not needed for 3.6ghz..i can get 3.6ghz with vcore lower then 1.3 and 1.392vcore can get 3.8ghz edi... (what batch eh.might differ then)

so i need to trust cpu temp or core temp?..cos cpu more hotter than core..the reading looks pelik la..

i cant get lower vcore for 3.6ghz..got bsod after a minute prime..3.8ghz i put 1.45v also not enough got bsod..maybe my batch is different..need more vcore.

sorry boss..cant fulfill that..
cl7 it will never more then ______ (argh...fogot the ram speed..but 283HTT x 1333divider)
but cl9 also will never boot at that speed..

once i try to boot with that setting, it will "cold boot"... 1600divider will stuck at 17XXmhz only..so that is the max speed i can ever boot with 1333divider

cl7 1800mhz stable is quite easy (prev few pages i did posted SS on it)
.. and beyond that i havent try the stable clock...

mine is 1x2gb module..kekekke.
single channel OC.. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Basically there are two readings, one taken from the motherboard sensor which is measured through a sensor located below the CPU and one on the CPU itself...

Hence, the two types of reading you can see in program such as everest....

TMPIN 0 usually associates with the CPU and the TMPIN 1 would be the Northbridge (790gx chipsets)...Sometime there are also VRM sensors such as DFI boards....
