actually the 1609mhz already "DQS training failed" appear..so i guess that is the culprit...
but 1606mhz havnt.. so i guess that is the culprit...this is my ram limit then....
in bios, disable show mem error message, voila... boot up as per normal... to be safe always test it w/ d build in memtest 1st. smile.gif

DeFinItely need not to say if price is not a concern... laugh.gif

online submission can ah? me at negeri orang leh... sad.gif

sometimes what we want & what we can afford are 2 diff things. i will take dfi @ anytime but my cfo says d other way round, so i'm biostar. laugh.gif

most will go for biostar as long as price is a concern, unless d case like d 790gx ddr2 boards where asus just rm35 higher than biostar. if a person is in his rite mind, d extra RM35 is definitely worthy cause asus always come w/ better build quality. nod.gif

actually i did disabled it.. if not disable it, 1609 is where the DQS pop out... so i guess that is the main reason i cant get it stable..

the vcore enough edi..did tried it before i start rclxub.gif rclxub.gif with my rams..
and also now i test large FTT only.. mainly on ram (if use blend, 6mins pass then fail..if large, 1min failed- better i take large)

hmm..later find out

actually it's a better practice to push cpu/ram only..
after getting the stable setup for the each of them later play with other things..
would appreciate to give all the setting details..

it could be caused by something else like nb freq or others that we not notice..
7cl @1600 is already tight.. certain freq convenience with certain timing.. some not even stable if we set it loose..

the best way push the ram first without involving others such as mobo n cpu..
let it at default and see how far the ram can go..

wait wait.. i dunno if this is the correct step.

this is what i just did.

i drop my multiplier and raise my FSB

then now my DRAM Freq is 470mhz previous was 440mhz

is this the way?

yup.. push as independent kunta.. that's what i mean.. test so many time on same component will make them acting weird.. same goes to cpu, eventhough u can confirmed it already stable.. the stable state will be different each boot, doesn't mean u pass it today.. tomorrow will be same..

by the way..

my 1100mhz hancus sad.gif

the max ram can go.. (for now laa tongue.gif)

Probably Comp will run with DDR3....And most probably if do, will focus on CPU score rather than 3D....

Extreme category (or Open some would call it) should be fun, but I scared newbies, if seasoned OCer I dun really mind...

But extreme in terms of cooling lar, not overvoltage via soldering... sweat.gif

Like I said before, I dun think....I must either know the spec or read from somewhere else.... tongue.gif

And most places that I read says that it is ok if you have bought one, but you probably look for an air cooling heatsink with silent but efficient fan which can do better... sweat.gif nod.gif
