bro, usually uds3 would be cheaper if compared to uds4, but still gigabyte in sgp are always overpriced like msi...

i wonder what's wrong w/ gigabyte, 790gx should be better than 790x (but seriously not much diff to me coz they're almost identical w/ 790gx bein newer), but they put 790x w/ 8+2 phase while 790gx is havin only half of pwm of d former...

Ya lor, just notice it, whut's up with the 4+1 phase instead of the 8+2 phase??? Even my mobo is 8+2 phase...

not stable till now..
but i wonder..i passeed orthos (5prior -20mins > 7prior - 20mins > 9 prior 20mins ) custom test 5mins to complete each test..

but the CCC always stop running..
so the display will turn sucks...
not like before..if not stable, no messing up with display..just "crash-hang-reboot)

the CCC will stop when into windows, run media player,and stressing...

but even the CCC stop, i still can orthos..

i wonder
1 CCC turn off means stability is like hell
2 but still can orthos, stability is ok ok..

Miahahahah, i stop oc for the moment, now busy with my pc games, quite a long list of games bought not played yet

Btw ah_khoo i noticed these few days when i unlock my cores my pc will stuck at shutting down.. I have to manually press the power button to force shutdown..
It started to happen after i ran the resident evil 5 benchmark i dloaded a few days ago..
I did a loop test n on the 2nd run my pc froze most probably due to my gpu overheating or sumthing..
I restarted it and since then it start acting up whenever i shutdown my pc..
Now i'm running at stock 3 cores it's ok plak

What i found after play a lot with oc yesterday, eventhough u pass the orthos or prime doesn't mean it perfect stable.

The low voltage that i got before this

1.104V @ 3.0ghz @ X4 just stable for prime 1 hours.. but not perfect stable for gaming
So, now i run 3.0Ghz @ X4 @ 1.120V

in bios 1.150 + 0.012 .. it produce 1.136 (idle) and 1.120 (load)

so kunta, i recommend to u, to add a few notch for vcore...


Edit : gaming and 3dmark become smear and crash... if i still stay using low voltage (1.104).. revert back to 1.120 for perfect using

U want to save some electricity or what? If yes just set at balanced..
If not like xixo said just turn of ur CnQ ur pc would run full speed always

I think is window crash.
I send my MINIDUMP files to Forumer ( shawnlut ) To help test out the problem.

I think the problem is Using Pr|vat3 D V D and using update then make the system crash ? =.=

If after unlock got blue screen, maybe your unlocked cores are very unstable. Try to use 2 cores first, if no blue screen then it is confirmed that your unlocked cores are unstable and are not suitable for use.

i admit my defeat xixo...it will take more then forever to make this thing stable with my current skill/exp now..

so i just let it run at 1.104vcore..deng..sweet spot to make it run at stock speed..

so far, what is the best bios u tried? i using the stock official bios

was using the bios that come with the board..foget edi what date

just flashed..
so far havent prime yet.. need to let it get used to it and then prime..
