Anyone use Cooler Master TX3 heatsink fan for their Phenom II?? I wanna know how much improvement will this CM TX3 compare with my stock heatsink fan that comes with Phenom II X3 710. I heard that the stock cooler is very cheap... but my idle temp under 30c and load is under 55c.

will there be a significant improvement if I upgrade it to CM TX3??

CPU Vcore: 1.35 or 1.4v to eliminate all suspects
NB :1.3v
HT.1.3v
Ram: Depends on your ram...just put 2.0v, I havent heard of a DDR2 burned because 2.0v...
Ram Speed : Again depends on your ram...If it is a DDR800 then put there 400...or some bios would just show 800 straightaway..
NB Frequency : Drop to 1800Mhz
HT Frequency : Drop to 1.6Ghz

Off CnQ

Try again...

yeah..that is y i said "ppl here can get stable at 1.312v in AM3". unlocking seems easier to get stable in ddr3.
in ddr2 sure need more vcore.. but in ddr3, that 1.312vcore can stable edi.. 1.4 is shakehead.gif shakehead.gif for me for that clock.

QUOTE(verdict @ Jul 29 2009, 09:21 PM)
AMD quad Propus to arrive in September !!! brows.gif

AMD had some sort of an issue with Propus, which is basically a Deneb core with the L3 cache physically removed . This core was supposed to show up at some point in late Q1 or early Q2 but now, after months of delays they are getting ready to launch it in September.

Propus has an issue that it should have performance extremely close to Deneb and this will definitely be an issue for AMD. The good thing about it is that this might be one of the smallest quad cores around but with AMD's Quad core prices being as low as they are, there is not much space to make these CPU more affordable.
