Same as you..Im using F2c bios..which my bro searched over Internet..this is the only BIOS that has option "Hybrid" in ACC..You set Hybrid or Normal?
The F2c BIOS is seems only can unlock...On F1 cannot unlock..never tried F2 thou..

if bios crash, he cant able to boot at all after flash bios right? but now he able to do so few times..
so mebbe that bios have issue since mod bios, but im sure its not bios crash.
that bios is better? will ask him to do so later..im also in the process of learning the board..my board reach perlis edi...
i tot the Phenom likes those setting.. PhenomII donot like them.. since last time i also tried with my ta790gx 128, i set the ACC to All cores (foget how many percent) it cant boot at all.. and those ACC i found that it not helping the OC in PhenomII but in Phenom, it helps alot..
will give a try later.

So that meant Xigmatek Dark Night can be used lo?

1. flash bios 06/29/09 usin t-series bios update software from d cd, get d bios file here: http://www.lejabeach.com/Biostar/TA790GXA3+/78DAA629.rar

2. Press DEL to enter to Bios

load optimal default after flashin done

3. go into bios, set ht link @ 1.6GHz

4. set advancne clock calibration to all core @ -2%

5. save & reboot

After i save and exit , it direct hang. blank screen.

he told me that got percentage to unlock.
Not sure is me using wrong method or it cant be unlock.

Any willing come to my place to try over this things ?

but it's not recommended for those who like to swap chip very often. like me for example...

i feel like throwin either my board or my chip, both just help each other to work @ their best... 

it pains me to see my chip which do 3.5GHz effortlessly on dfi 790fxb ddr2 board can't go beyond 3.4GHz on a decent ddr3 board like 790gx a3+. 

mite be revertin back to ddr2 if i can find a gud deal to trade...

arghh no luck on unlocking 4th core... it just wont boot after i set acc:auto n ec:special in latest msi bios setting
