Yep. It'll be after the event though, according to the FAQ.

Added on July 14, 2009, 1:36 pmOK, my email says 6-8 weeks after the event.

If I order the BlizzCon 2009 Pay Per View Internet stream, will I receive the BlizzCon-exclusive World of Warcraft in-game pet?
Yes, if you purchase the Pay Per View Internet stream, you will receive the BlizzCon 2009 exclusive pet, Grunty the Murloc Marine. An email containing a code for the pet and redemption instructions will be sent 6 to 8 weeks after the event.
Please note that the BlizzCon 2009 World of Warcraft in-game pet is not available in all regions. Only players on World of Warcraft realms in North America (including those serving players in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand), Europe, and Korea, are eligible to receive the pet. Pet redemption will require a World of Warcraft account to be merged with Battle.net account.

http://blizzcon.rayv.com/Pages/en/FAQ.aspx

I didn't become a DirectTV customer which is for US residents only. Took the Pay per View option.

And kaotim, got the confirmation email. tongue.gif

ahh, so you don't need to be Direct TV subscriber, just need to purchase the stream (which you are unable to watch overseas?)

hmmmm. I wonder if I should spend 3 hours of pay on a murloc pet.

You obviously didn't read the FAQ.

Go back and read. No one will pay that amount for an in-game pet.

im working in Australia. So yeah, it's AUD16 per hour. But the rent, food, electricity, internet and all other shit is also more expensive. The average cost of a meal outside is $8 w/o drinks.

It looks like the FAQ page is down atm. Meh...

Anyway, my last understanding was that the 39.95 was for the 2 days viewing, irregardless whether you had a DirectTv account or not (hence Pay per View). So, that's the complete package for 2 days viewing for the duration of the Blizzcon schedule.

After that, if you are a DirectTV subscriber, then it's additional charges to view stuff other than Blizzcon.

For the Pay per View, that's it. Only the 39.95 for the 2 days and if you want to view.

actually, not the same "murky" pet.
due to the soon release Starcraft 2, this murloc got some starcraft theme
its wearing terren marine armor and arm with a machine gun.
its name is Grunty the Murloc Marine
see below

i'll admit its cute(EXTREAMLY!! drool.gif ), but i'm saving my gold- i mean my RM to buy RM3.50 lunch/dinner.

I'm contemplating whether to buy the Pay Per View, cos first... I don't have a credit card....and the only debit card I have is Maybank, and it cannot be used for online transactions..wth.. Secondly, I have to wake up like midnight to watch it, which I don't mind actually lol. Replays will still be available up to 3 days after the event (RayV support team told me this).

Anyone got a credit/debit card they can pinkam for this? We can meet up somewhere and do a face to face transaction at a nearby CC or whatever =(

noted lady boss!!!

will attempt to pm you in game (randomly), due to the fact that:
1. you might be spending time to test Aion instead of wondering aimlessly in dalaran or any AH (well, bothering you when you're in wow is better than wasting your time to login and wait for me to randomly go online to just take screen shots, then logout)

2. need to get rid of my reagent guild master (a.k.a placeholder) status since the real guild master wants the guild beck

oh well, i can set a time window. 8-9 pm ok for u? i'll be on one of those 4 characters.

I will not be going onto AION until much later in the night when I can get onto the 1024 kbps line. Anything slower will give me problem on AION but on WoW, it's no problem and I don't raid anymore.
