Completely different. The jet isn't part of the "Omnia" series that Samsung is rolling out - different OS, & technically not a smartphone.

OS samsung will always lose to iphone interface.  They only put more features and mostly steal another ppl OS and use like WinMo

checked out Samsung at Sunway Pyramid: Samsung Jet is priced at RM1,888.

no actual unit yet, but based on the look-n-feel of the dummy unit, size is excellet. Much better than Nokia 5800 XM's chunky/bulky size.

Not smarter than smartphone in Samsung JET :

1) Samsung use its newly develop UI and proprietary OS : ToucWiz..it means that (right now, later Samsung will allow new application to be install) no extra application can be install in it. Unlike the smartphone, there are already thousand applications u can install. In Samsung  JET, u can only add JAVA application.

2) No editing of PDF, Power Point and Word files. Samsung Jet can only view it.
