instead of asking u can go to garage sale and check how much ppl are selling it..

I want to ask...

I was using K810i previously, and now I want to transfer my contacts, I mean all 400 of them into my new Jet, how do I do it?

Ive tried 'Send all contacts bia bluetooth' and what I got was only 300 contacts were transfered, and all ended up with front and names mixed up and with /1 at the end of their names.

How do I do it nice and clean, all 400 contacts at once?
Like if my contact name in K810i was 'James Bond', how do I maintain it to be 'James Bond' in my JET? Without me needing to rename everything and rechecking if all my contacts are there...

OMGoodness! Samsung Wave is coming soon, HTC releasing a string of Touch screen phones -and it's NOT WinMO - Wohooo!!!! Hmmm, shld i Still get the jet? Other phones have super Amoled, 720p recording, have an OS (Bada, Android..anything but WinMO) which can have future upgrades and application and 1GHZ micropro. But they would all be pricey and may take a looong time to hit our shore 

What is smarter than smartphone means in Samsung JET?? :

1) Samsung JET have 800MHz processor : comparing to all popular SMARTPHONE like iPhone 3GS(600MHz), HTC Touch HD(528MHz). HTC Touch Pro2 (528MHz), SE Xperia (5528MHz), Samsung Omnia(624MHz)

i don't see the different than HTC HD2/Diamond2.

4) MULITASKING : this is one of the great features of Samsung JET.

Err All WinMo can Multitasking what.

5) Dolfin Internet Browser + One finger zoom function :

Using my lappie. Opera Mobile Beta 3 more superb.

6) Navigation software : only in Europe model.

1) Samsung use its newly develop UI and proprietary OS : ToucWiz..it means that (right now, later Samsung will allow new application to be install) no extra application can be install in it. Unlike the smartphone, there are already thousand applications u can install. In Samsung JET, u can only add JAVA application.

2) No editing of PDF, Power Point and Word files. Samsung Jet can only view it.
How come thei claim smarter than smart phone, smart phone should support many applications, for working person no editting for power point and word? How can it be smart if can't edit? Even outlook also can't setting for incoming or outgoing services.

Hey guys i might be getting jet this monday. but still wondering whether its worth getting samsung jet for 1.2-1.4k.
any upcoming smartphones with budget around 1.5k"? as i dun wanna be regretting over the purchase.

first you never use jet but ask people to but jet...

LG and samsung normal os will get you bored in no time as there is not much applications and games available for download compare to winmo and symbian os, for screen KO normal is due to rough handling, put in jean and forgot either seat on it or cross leg and apply to much pressure to the screen or rough people (lembu punya orang, check their previous phone, if banyak scratches, dents-this people cannot use touchscreen phone...) usage only can damage the screen, that's from my observation so far since 2008 nov....

-camera i admit it's not good loh

-slow processor but movie playing are so smooth and even samsung omnia 2 can't match the smoothness same movie file, don't tell me about the helicopter HD demo in samsung omnia 2 which is so clear and smooth.

-OS not mature, how mature you want an os to be as it will always evolving, like wm5 then wm6.0, wm6.5, wm7, every os is evolving......for me it's gets better with every firmware upgrade in which nokia is good at and available worldwide, samsung susahloh, some can upgrade online but 99% have to sent to SC to upgrade or reinstall.

although the advert shows "smarter than smartphone" but it is not a smart phone...if u want more aps and better organiser apps...go for winmo phone...

i can see here so many people bashing samsung phones..especially JET..
while they also DONT REALIZE that JET runs Samsung's propietary OS..Samsung propietary OS is NOT  a smartphone OS..how can you compare JET fully with Symbian?with iphone?with WinMo?you cant compare it fully..JET still belongs in a non-smartphone category..

if u still want to compare JET with other phone, u can but compare JET with Nokia phone without Symbian OS, compare JET with HTC without WinMo or Android OS in it(is there any?i'm not sure)..

...while i admit there r flaws with JET but do you know why Samsung call JET as smarter as smartphone..becos it runs non-smartphone OS and at the same time it have some capability of Smartphone OS.. JET is some kind of phone that narrows the gap between non-smartphone with smartphone with its features...

if you're a geek and users of smartphone..surely u will not be impress with the features of JET becos u have seen it in ur smartphone..

about Samsung hardware..Samsung's hardware is one of the best out there...
Most of the new technology within mobile phone is initiated/innovated by Samsung..

FYI, Iphone using Samsung processor...
SE phone using Samsung's camera hardware..
AMOLED/SUPER AMOLED all build/created/innovated by Samsung...and many more..

So i can say, the best part of Samsung phones is in its hardware...

Samsung's software, is quite new and they just build their own smartphone OS;BADA..

So if u want to fully compare HTC, WinMo, Android, Iphone with Samsung's phone..wait for BADA OS...

Could it be possible that its because of not using a memory card? Currently on phone memory only.
