I read somewhere in LYN about the possibility of Jet to be upgraded to WinMo.
Is it true? Or was it my imagination? @@
If its true, will there be any significant improvement to the UI and such? I tried both iPhone 3Gs and Jet today and found out that Jet isn't as smooth as the iPhone.

Cause theoretically it can run on WinMo since Omnia II also runs on WinMo right? I'm still too new in this. I might be wrong.
But I really believe someone said it can be upgraded to winmo ahaha.

I believe most of the Jet's flaws are fixable on the software side.
The OS could be optimised further to lessen the sluggishness of the UI. Also the usability of the GPS feature.
From what I see, the Jet has all the hardware but needs the software side to mature more to bring out its potential.

Hope so too. Currently, only their software downs are preventing me from getting it.

For iPhone's QWERTY's keyboard, you can drag your finger on a letter. But with Jet you can't do so. But then, its easier to type the conventional way in Jet.
As for the keypad, Jet is easier to use. You just need to get used to the flat surface of the screen cause you can't differentiate the keys just by touching. But its easy to press.
My 2 cents.

My bad. My sentence was bad.
For Jet, you must tap on the key itself. For iPhone, you just tap anywhere on the keyboard and you drag your finger to the character you want to type in.
I don't know how to explain it anymore XD

I'm not sure whether the link below is illegal or not. It seems legit though. Here : http://www.getjar.com/software/Samsung/GT_S8003_Jet/Seems like a good webbie. Also, I think there are addons for the social networking site eg facebook, also image storage eg flickr. This post has been edited by faidz85: Sep 23 2009, 04:39 PM

If GPS is your main concern, please look elsewhere.
Samsung Jet's GPS in Malaysia is as good as not functioning right now =P
And I believe this is a media centric phone, the GPS is only an accessory.
