Hello everyone, two days ago, I just went to the Samsung store at Terminal one Seremban to try out the jet (White Jet). I'm thinking of purchasing it before CNY.

I got question that i forgot to ask the dealer.
My question is:
1. Does Jet have a soft screen? it felt fragile like i have to press it in rather than just a light touch.

2. he said the phone firmware can't be upgraded? I remember Jet is upgradable.

3. Does it shake every time i press something on the phone? if possible how to disable it.

Thank you

Oh BTW I asked one of the store (not the one above) that sell Jet said that they sell the Brightstar one for RM1150.

and yes, you can make it not vibrated when touching it.just press the volume button on the side in idle mode..there will be volume and vibration setting

ahaha thanks, that should clear up some of my confusion. because of the vibration it felt like I'm clicking a real button on the screen. biggrin.gif

if Im not mistaken they(retailer) said the distributor got bankrupted or something can't remember. they said mine was directly distributed by samsung itself. try to look under the battery slot.

Hi all, according to GSMARENA this phone comes with 2 internal memory sizes, either 2gb or 8gb. But seems like everybody here owned the 2gb version. So are they selling only the 2gb version in Malaysia?

Besides that, someone mention that this phone can only store 500 sms. Has that limitation been removed via new firmware update?

Hmm mine is 1.5GB. does that considered 2GB version?

About the battery life, I used jet for a full 2 month now no bug, mine now will last 5 day + with minimal use, 3 day + on average use, ok lah considering it a touch screen phone. At the first few weeks of usage the battery seems weaker but it seems to have optimised by then. but the wifi really is power hungry.
