Does anybody here play championship mode and noticed that lag spikes are weird ?

Its almost as if the opponent is losing or trying to score an ultra or throw, then everything turns into a slideshow. My hunch says some folks are manipulating their network to slow down the game in order to cheat. I noticed this even on 5 bar connections.

So beware ....

Yes, and each player has to have an ID with GFWL - which means both must have the original disc.

i'm using keyboard to play SF, but recently i bought a controller.

those who using standard controller - 4 buttons on front (with R1, R2, L1, L2 on side)
Example standard PS3 controller, XBOX 360 controller, Logitech Rumblepad, etc..  (not Mad Catz controller with 6 buttons on front)

how u assign your button?

A/1/rectangle - Light Punch
B/2/circle - Medium Punch
C/3/square  - Light Kick
D/4/cross - Medium Kick

R1 - Heavy Kick
R2 - Heavy Punch

L1 - ??
L2 -??

By default in PS3 (& Xbox360 ?) :

R1 - Heavy Punch
R2 - Heavy Kick

L1 : Light Punch + Medium Punch + Heavy Punch
L2 : Light Kick + Medium Kick + Heavy Kick

The rest are the same as you quoted earlier.

Do note that when it comes to arcade sticks, there are only 6 buttons officially. In other words, if you play in any tournament in any part of the planet, there is no "Light Punch + Medium Punch + Heavy Punch" or "Light Kick + Medium Kick + Heavy Kick". The same goes with the SF4 arcade machines : 6 buttons, not 8.

No harm in using those 2 extra buttons though if you don't intend to join tournaments. Besides they helped in completing tricky trial challenges so you can unlock icons.
