did you do lost any match and continue ? you can't continue if you want to fight akuma or gouken.
and how many rounds did you set ? the 1perfect 1ultra is meant for 1 round matches. if you set more ...then multiply the number of rounds needed to win.

akuma will be out after seth, like an extra match...

and you can't don't do too many 1st attack,perfect or ultra finishes.
The 1st time i did it with too many perfects,ultras and 1st atk, i got to gouken!! but i can't unlock him cuz i haven't unlock akuma, and the worst thing is I can't get neither akuma or gouken this way

there is a trick to it to do the FADC. after you SRK, position your joystick/pad to forward, then do EX FA, hold on to the FA buttons, then just tab forward ONCE, while the FA buttons still on hold, do QCFx2 motion, let go the FA buttons and press on 3xPunch.

and it's ok if your ultra does not connect at the 1st place, just practice the motion more and get a feel out of it, when u can execute it like 80% of the time, then try to do the motion faster until ultra connects.

honestly speaking, I haven't encounter once that SRK will come out when i release the FA buttons. the only time it came out wrong is when i was doing in a chaotic way that ex SRK was executed, which means i did the motion wrongly

but each have their own way of execution, there's no proper way to it. and once you get the hang of the execution process, u don't have to look into visuals anymore, its more of a feel thingy

p.s : think i'm getting old, my hands r not as agile as it use to be
