Get an arcade stick as well, there's a few to choose from:

1. Madcatz TE & CE
2. HRAP3

And a few more which are similar to those.

There are some limitations to playing it on the keyboard.

For arcade stick, you can just get HRAP3, it's around RM310 to RM330 depending on seller, Hellfire sell them @ RM330 and he does postage as well (Recommended seller)

You can mod the buttons of the arcade stick which would be around RM70. You can get those from Jaylike7 and a few more sellers in the forum.

Get the game and get a RM30 keyboard or Logitech  / Genius / Xbox what not gamepad around RM80 or so first.

You can always get the arcade stick later.

I have tried all basic special moves for all characters on my keyboard even Guile and Vega's ultra (which is difficult to pull off on a keyboard)

I can do 720 motion on keyboard but timing is very out.

Dont use 360 pad... it sux for fighter games!

As a player who bought Xbox360 pad and then later Madcatz fightpad, seriously forget about the Xbox360 pad, i have an extra Madcatz to let go at less than market price too, like gM | Mutsumi-san I use pad too, it's decent for casual play, sticks for serious play or if you have financial freedom to do so.

@Cheese: I agree with JuzJoe, don't use the 360 pad, i used to play with that on my Xbox 360 but i seldom play on the xbox now becoz of the pad. If you can't afford a stick, you might want to try one of the Logitech pads, they're not too expensive and are quite similar to PS3 pads, so when you play on a fren's PS3 or join the tournaments, you'll easily get the hang of the PS3 pad

Anything above 50fps is more than enough for smooth gameplay.

Not sure about 40fps.

For keyboard:

Bind 3 punches and 3 kicks into a single key respectively.

Practise the down + forward / back  x2  motion in training mode.

hmm...have you checked for the latest updates from GFWL? you mean everytime you log in to GFWL it auto signs in the offline version?

i think u might need to create an online GFWL account. its not registered through the game..

you have to reg through the net.

finally one stupid question..

did your friend key in the ori CD-key while installing?

he's using wired connection straight from the router, already mentioned he tried direct connection to modem, still same result.

Maybe I'll get him to try a different router
