what about those blocks that cpu do whenever i try to throw them? why they can do that one ar?

that is call tech hit.

it means when you tekan grab, cpu tekan grab too.

both try to grab at same time = tech hit

means block your grab.

special grabs cannot be blocked.

You can tech throws, but that wasn't what I was talking about.

You can throw people out of some special throws before they throw you.

keep hadouken, either he will block or jump over my hadouken then beat the crap out of me esp his "cheat" thousand kicks...

i did block as well to wait for chance to give a hit, purposely wait his fail shoryuken...

i return my attacks are either being grab by him, block by him or even use again his "cheat" thousand kicks...

no luck even tho in easiest, phailed instead lol...

His "cheat" thousand kicks is the worst move for him to do randomly actually. EVeryone can punish it. Only good for combos.

If you think he's gonna do it, block and punish. No need to wait for SRK only.

i cant belive i spent RM100+ for this shitty game...

gameplay is the same as SF2 ... i mean its 2009 .. atleast have something special ... like something ingame that i can throw or use as tool or SOMETHING....

and yea... gameplay sucks compare to SF2.... the power gauge system was so damn awful... i mean ... RAGE??? damn.. cant they stick to the standard power gauge????

and the skills ... yea... SF2!!!! and to think i would expect more skills for a 4gb game ....

the COMBO system was the worst!!! compared to Marvel VS Capcom... this game cant do any good combination .... no ariel wave ... no nothing!!!


i dont even know why it got such high ratings [PC version]....

Graphic : Nothing special... just the character in 3D... and background was average
Gameplay : Worst than SF2 with the stupid new power gauge system
Replay Value : Very poor... cause all character skills were expected as its the same as the rest of the SF series skills... no point playing the arcade mode over again ...
Overall : I felt that i wasted my money on this game ....

And this is why people should know what they're buying before they actually spend money on it.

Also, I like the hypocritical thinking of "This game's just like SF2! And this game sucks compared to SF2!"

Guys i just started playing and i have a silly question. How do i 'charge'?
I see it as a requirement for some of the characters' moves like Chun-Li's ultra move, but i have no idea how to 'charge'.

Charging means to hold a certain direction before releasing it and going on with the rest of the command. For example, Guile's Sonic Boom: ( <--> + P) Hold Back for 2-3 seconds, then press forward and punch or kick simultaneosly. Only then will the move be initiated.

So basically, all you have to do for Chun-li's Ultra is: (<-->,<,v,>+ K) Hold Backwards for 2-3 secs, then press forward, back, down, forward + All 3 Kick Simultaneosly. Remember, the burning round ultra meter must be filled before doing this.

Thats not entirely true, U can play wit most of ppl on the list in the 1st post without lag. Unless u're talking about ppl who play SF4 on console. i read that the connection on PSN & Xbox live is not as good as PC's.

OMG, u serious? worse than SF2? u sir need to understand alil more about SF4 b4 u start posting half-ass reviews n comments. Go watch a SF2 video & SF4 video on youtube.com or sumthing, and u will see the differences.

It's so sad that u can post sumthing about a game which u haven't fully explore, any1 who has played Street Fighter will know that SF4 & SF2 are different; similar is to a certain extent only.



This is where u fail miserably; there is a standard power gauge, in addition to the Rage bar which charges up when u deal, receive damage or by performing a "special move". The Super bar allows u to perform a extended version of ur characters every special moves it also allows u to do a FADC which makes the game very flexible where it is quite similar to KoF 2002. Lastly as it's name suggest, its a super bar when fully charge u can perform a "super move". In other words, the super bar (or a "standard power bar" as what u like u put it) has basically 3 functions. Ex-special moves, FADC (Focuss Attack Dash Cancel) & "super moves".

The Rage bar only charges up when u receive damage or by absorbing hits from Focus attack. This is actually good cause it allows players that are at low health a chance to comeback at the game.



I'm so sorry that u waste ur money on the game(NOT!). You probably deserve it, cause u juz blindly pay for sumthing which u were juz curious y it has great ratings on PC.



If u expect SF4 to be the same as MvC, wouldnt that be dumb? y would Capcom make different fighter games play the same?

p.s.: MvC2, SF3: 3rd strike, SF2, KoF, SF4, Tekken, soul calibur are great fighter games.

Alex Valle, Ed Ma, Combofiend, Gootecks, Justin Wong, Marn and many more will be in the tournament.

Mago, Daigo's closest rival in SF4 will not attend the tournament cause he has no passport.
