Hi Guy/Girl, I currently want to upgrade/change my old LIAN-LI V600S. Its serve good for me but kinda cramped case, need more space for upgrade. So, I choose to go for Full Tower case for space advantage.

Currently in my mind is Coolermaster ATCS 840 or Silverstone RAVEN both great case but cannot decide which case is the best for me. Not have opportunity to see this case personally because kinda far from KL right now.

So basically the purpose for this thread is to decide which one is offer best space and cable management. Also important is built quality and airflow (temperature).

Other case also can be recommendation to me as long not to out of range (money and space)

Last but not least, I would like to said thank your for your vote, comment and recommendation.

ATCS840 for sure

ATCS 840 for it space and alluminium build. if u like classical looks, no reason y dun go 4 this case. if u like futuristic looks, raven for sure.

Cooler Master ATCS 840!!!!

1) Cooler Master ATCS 840

Pros: All important features included
Cons: Looks, this case is classic anyway.

2) SilverStone Raven RV01:

Pros: good design, especially 90 degree rotate, cool air flow from bottom to remove the hot air to the top, good thermodynamics and has lots of dust filter.

Cons:

This case may not suitable for every one.
May have trouble with the psu cable to connect to mobo, depend on mobo connector

I prefer Cooler Master Cosmos, for the air flow, looks, and price.

But I recommend CM ATCS 840, all-in-one features included.

Silverstone RAVEN, the design is nice.

no such thing as disadvantage for ATCS 840... just the weight carrying that beast back...
it works cooler than other case, bigger and nicer

So basically there is no disadvantage for ATCS 840 other than weight.

I think look or design is no problem for me because as u can see my 2 previous case is clean/sleek design and full aluminum case (LIAN-LI V600S and Coolermaster Praetorian).

- VGA to DVI adapters can not be used
- Extreme Chassis deserve extreme accessories (Only two cable ties???)
- Looks not for everyone (or even most people)
- Way too much plastic

Design is not issue here. As mention early my thread. I wanted to know which one is best in space and cable management. Also, best in built quality and airflow. So, design is NOT a problem for me both is fine.

Obviously, CM ATCS 840 is better than RAVEN RV01 for optimal cooling, cable management and build quality.

I don't think the Raven's cooling is a good selling point Obviously the SECC and plastic material is not doing anything special for it's cooling.

Based on the 2 above, ATCS 840... If others, I recommend TJ10....

ATCS840 confirm have better airflow overall when compare to raven
There are some deadspot on raven around the nb part

For the price you pay for ATCS840, maybe can consider topping a bit more for TJ-09/10?

I would prefer ATCS 840 over TJ09 /10
TJ09/10 still using 120mm and ATCS 840 using 230mm fans..consider the airflow is better (correct me if i am wrong)
Altho the build quality TJ09/10 wins..

CM is always the best brand for casing....

Dude ATCS840 is really big man plus is full alu, go for it man it won't go wrong.

The material of the case is also very important and size of the fan might not necessarily help sometimes. It's just a bunch of other factors involved I guess Moving from Cosmos S to a full aluminium Lian Li PC-A77B makes a difference even only with 2 exhaust fans running on my Lian Li now.

I got a same case ATCS 840 like urs too

I'm very satisfied with the case, but as some ppl said, the built materials is a lil bit 'kurang' every time i want to 'godek-godek' the hardware inside, my fingers will get a few cuts until bleeding

CM is the best, no matter which full tower model....

i korek korek inside my atcs840 and never get cut. So far, i like the casing, big, spacious and solid. On the negative pressure inside the casing, adding more fans and shutting down one top 230mm fan (nearer to the drive bays) will solve the problem.

want spacious

nothing beats Lian Li PC-343B
