Nope,unless u startle them.Use long tweezer so ur hand dun hav to b so close wiv them and they wont jump on ur hand.And whether they can jump out or not,depends on the height of ur tank.Remember to use a bigger tank so they wont jump around when u open the cover.And provide hides as well...
