QUOTE(Izzulogy @ Jul 23 2009, 02:20 AM) no, not those pili.. frm what i read, they are good mites, which are also mites, but mites that eat other mites, and die when their job is done.. They r so small how the scorp kill them? There r slightly chance for scorp to step them to death. The largest individuals of this kind of isopod can be 1 cm long, but most are 7 or 8 mm.do u really think those pili can be put into the same container with scorps? either the scorp will kill them, or scorps die.. It is true dat mites issues r overrated in Malaysia forums
If cant deal wiv this issue i suggest dun try big scale breeding 1st,if wanna breed, then go for desert sp. This reminds me of lester's H.Arizonensis |

Take back my words, woodlice cant eat the mites. But quote frm scorp forum:
QUOTE Scoop some dirt from outside into a tub. Examine it for little critters running around. These are probably predatory mites. Transfer them gently with a fine paintbrush into your scorpion's enclosure. If you don't have a fine paintbrush, tape a few of your hairs to the end of a pencil to make a very small brush. I'm going to dig for some.ANW...nice L.Scutilus rafiqos |

QUOTE(Izzulogy @ Jul 24 2009, 01:07 AM) ryo: alot people intrested in hottenta hottenta.. means there alot of demand for them! breed! breed! lester: aaaarrr... those lqs... sooo tempting.... btw, u guys power feeding ur scorps or not? bcoz theres one time this one person posted saying that scorpions are not like tarantula, scorpions cannot be powerfeed so much bcoz they will die (this was posted on emperors issue..couldnt remeber who posted it.. draken if im not mistaken) so isit true? Added on July 24, 2009, 1:09 amhyorinmaru: mites problem are overrated in malaysia- i think it should be that way, becoz our weather and environment is hot and humid, really suitable for mites infestation.. unlike in europe or US, their environment are not humid.. so we in malaysia should take this problem seriously It is not like other country dont hav mites infestation, cos they knw how to deal wiv it. ANW...u just go and discuss about mites,i wonder y we should let this troubling us |
