On route to visit MAS Engineering & Maintenance, Subang.. It was short, but very valuable for us noob.. lol.. Can see live aircrafts, enter cockpit of B747-400, yeah, the one in my siggy, 1st class, business class, economy class, explore many workshops, demo of B777 Slide Raft deploy in just 5 sec, etc... ahh..

But unfortunately strictly no cameras allowed.. So, can't show most of the pics i've taken with mobilephone there...

i took once shot only, not that important to re-take.. lol.

some call it sisha / shisha, or whatever they pronounce it...
usually the arabs / arab students become the sisha tauke, they tumpang mamak's restaurant only..

per session maybe around rm10, depends on brand also on the location.. kampung place sure lower price..

i myself dont take sisha.. no smoke either..
it was my friends who become the sisha tauke, they tumpang one of the nearby restaurant only, you know, just to earn extra money.. it's legal, just make sure you dont pour in some illegal stuffs inside lah.. because the "dapur" is more or less same like ganja "dapur".. correct me if i'm wrong.. i have no experience about this matter.. lol..

is a book. got many2 stories about phailed aircraft inside. but the most phail one is the Convair XFY, because it must land and take off like a space shuttle (vertically). no rear view mirror or camera oso, so the pilot must turn his head 180 degree.. lol..


dye penetrant inspection, the visible red line is the crack. after inspection, must do report, put datum blablabla, point where the crack is blablabla....


magnetic particle inspection, crack not visible here.. should be green fluorescent in color

both are part of non-destructive tests. got other tests oso, radioghraphy (very dangerous, shud be perform under level 3 ndt-man supervision i think), ultrasonic, eddy current...

The actual ambient light should be alot dimmer than in the picture, can say half of what you see above.. Thanks to Raiderski, this shot is made possible by using his camdriver.. ISO is set to 800.. (max can go 1000 lol), shutter speed is 1 sec..
If i'm using stock camdriver, I think cannot see anything liao..
oh, dont be scared if u see two "ghosts" in above pic..
