The true test in mobile photography IMO is night/low light shots, daylight is pretty much decent for any camera. I recently had the opportunity to do a side by side interior shot of X10 and N8 at night where the ambience was darker than portrayed by both photos. Both shot in Auto with decent outcome. What do you guys think? hmm.gif

I think N8 is the top, coz the bottom is too vivid to be N8.

Top less noisy but I like the color at the bottom. The insect killer (bottom pic) is more detail than the top.

FYI it's normal that colour temperature is automatically risen in low light situations to suppress noise better, hence the vivid colour.

Haizz...of course la no editing, feel free to knock yourself out with all my exif here

http://www.flickr.com/photos/55503140@N05/

Frankly, I prefer the vivid colour of N8 when I first shot it, but X10 is closer to the actual ambience. X10 was taken with 6mp and N8 12mp (I think, correct me if I'm wrong). But the strange thing is at full crop, the sizes are the same which I don't understand why since N8 supposed to portray bigger res. Furthermore, X10 file size even bigger than N8 rclxub.gif Anyone care to explain?

No hard feelings, I get that a lot in this thread laugh.gif I would love to take more comparison shots but it was owned by a friend's friend so I only had time for a quick shot. I love the design of N8 actually, if it was android it would be perfect!
