QUOTE(finecut @ Jul 16 2009, 08:47 AM) i'm a digi user now, so if i wanna get myself converted to maxis and use ivalue 2 12month plan for iphone3gs, i need to pay 1790 upfront and pay 155 the following 12 months? Based on the info in the Maxis website, your understanding is correct. RM200 (non-refundable) to be paid at Maxis Centre to confirm your booking. And then RM1,790 (balance RM1,590 iPhone price plus RM200 prepayment of monthly fee) upon collection of iPhone 3GS. I might be wrong though...perhaps some other expert can assist.

QUOTE(Joey Christensen @ Jul 16 2009, 10:13 AM) Morning. I've yet to pay the RM200 deposit. Planned to pay it (the deposit) by cash tomorrow. My question is, I want to complete the getting an iPhone 3G(s) cycle. Not outright buying it off though. Hence, how much do I need to pay on the very day I pick up the iPhone? Just want to make sure I bring sufficient cash to settle everything in one shot. Regards, Joey If I'm not mistaken, you have to pay the full balance of the iPhone price (after lessing out the RM200 deposit) on the day you collect, plus (if you're on the iValue plans) the prepayment of the monthly fees applicable to your iValue plan.

I was wondering if I sign up for a 12-month iValue Plan with Maxis, and let's say I sell off my iPhone 3GS after 8 months.
Will I then be able to use the iValue SIM card on other phones and enjoy the packaged calls & data for the remaining 4 months? Or will Maxis be able to detect that I'm using the SIM card on another phone and then 'rescind some of the privileges of the rate plans should the registered line not be used with the purchased iPhone 3GS' as stipulated in Maxis' Terms & Conditions No.6?
