- No. You will need to request your principal line subscriber to book on your behalf.

sory arr....izzit tis mean i need "Main" line person to book the iphone?? bcos i m the "sub line"....
*
unless u convert to principal line..

is 3GB data usage a month too much, just enough or not enough for a normal occasional internet browsing and minimal GPS?

it'd be logic that... if u're taking any of the iValue plans.. it means u're converting from your existing plan to new one.. the rates and benefits might be changed..

i booked mine online and will be collecting it from Machines next Sat.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Sorry...I think I need to repeat boring and old question again. When I booked my i3Gs, I selected ivalue 100 plan and paid deposit. After calculated this few days. I found that my current value plan rm50 + idata plan rm30 + RM 8 for 500 sms are more suitable for me. Can I change the plan when I go to collect my i3Gs?
*
Since u've paid the deposit, i think u can still change the plan when u're collecting it.. that was what the Maxis ppl told me..

I did that too.. my initial plan is iValue plan.. then changed it to iData.. when i pay the deposit..

@Jacky96136
I'm not too sure about that. But what this Wendy from Maxis called, she said "Yes, you can change the plan. Just inform the person from [collection outlet] which plan you would like to change to when you're collecting your iPhone"

But, to play safe.. better call Maxis to confirm.

@Suk
iData 1 with no contract? Then, yes.. you'll need to pay RM2290 when you'r collecting your iPhone..

@tinkerbel

Thanks for your info. I hope is it true. ivalue plan really not worth at all. Now I just worry MEP store not allow me to change the plan.

My nearby MEP store sales person attitude very bad. Last time when I was there for deposit payment. I need to use credit card, but the girl told me cannot due they are MEP store. They need cash for deposit.

After I paid deposit by cash. I ask her is it i can collect my i3Gs on 1/8/2009 since i selected in my booking page. She replied me not really. She explanation is i3Gs launch on 31/7, so maybe I only can get my phone after 31/7 but cannot confirm 1/8 can give me. Sigh~
*
That's really bad. I paid my deposit using credit card.
And u SHOULD get ur iphone on the date u have selected. Else, why pre-booked?

i'm currently using other carrier network. i wanna get iphone, can i sign up value plus 50 (not ivalue 1 plan) and idata plan ?

if can, how much would the 32G iphone cost ?
*
u need to sign up for that Value Plus 50 separately first then only sign up for iData plan for iPhone..

hi all,

I'm not sure if these have been asked before but here goes:
1. Can we sign up for Maxis Mobile Internet (RM99/month) on top of the iValue Plans?
2. Can we use MultiSIM-1-Line service on top of the iValue Plans?

Thanks in advance.
*
i think regardless of what plan u're signing up.. it doesn't matter if u're using MultiSIM or not.. they just get u another SIM for the same line..

too bad u can't receive incoming call from that secondary MultiSIM.. sad.gif

Yes, you can. But only 1 SIM can be active at any one time. The MultiSIM-1-Line SIM cards come with pre-saved speed dials to check which SIM card is active as well as to set the current SIM to be the active one. You can change it anytime you want to receive calls. Check their website for more info.

And you know what's very good about it? You just need to subscribe the unlimited RM99/month once on your line and all SIM cards can enjoy it. You can get connected concurrently. For example, you can browse via USB modem on your laptop while checking email on your Blackberry and checking out Google Maps on your iPhone. There are more scenarios that you can't even imagine.  whistling.gif

I'm planning to use the secondary SIM on my SE phone and primary on iPhone.. means i can have only either SIM to receive call at one time?

i called maxis yesterday to check when will the data usage be activated..
this guy (i think his name is azrul) did some checking and then told me it's an UNLIMITED data usage.. i did repeated about the 3GB data usage.. and he reassured me it's UNLIMITED..

now.. some forummer here said even the mobile unlimited access is capped at 3GB..

so, how true is this? unsure.gif

@boringpig,
My sources keeps telling me it's capped at 3GB.  I too did ask him, how then would Maxis know if and when we've exceeded the 3GB cap when our limit is reset to 0; he couldn't give me an answer but he told me it's capped at 3GB.

Ah well.. since you've downloaded 3.6GB data and wasn't charged extra then it's good.  Btw what on earth are U downloading?!

@fangcheng,
U can make the change when U make collection of ur iPhone.
*
ermm.. 3.6GB download.. not me.. it's jphlau.. unsure.gif
i've been randomly youtube'ing since this morning.. not even 10% of 3GB..
