I have similar query and after calling up 123 ( been calling up 2 -3 times this week from complaining to seeking clarification of statement charges ) about my iValue 100,and the comment is :

RM100.00 is monthly commitment,RM50.00 for call charges and the other RM50.00 for internet data.
E.g. My call charges was RM75.00 and in this instances,they give rebate of RM50.00 back to me.
As for data,I have just terminated my RM99.00 Unlimited Data Plan yesterday,but presume it will run similarly like the above.

For sms,I have incurred 750 sms ( guess I must really keep track ) and since I am on RM8.00 plan for first 500 sms foc,therefore the
balance of 250 smses will be chargeable based on 0.10 0r 0.15cts..

And after 4th month of experimenting with iValue plan,including signing up RM99 for Unlimited Data Plan,I decided to terminate my unlimited data plan as I am paying 'blindly' RM50.00 on the data commitment fee every month while on RM99 plan...

If any of the Maxis personnel is reading this,please do consider to waive the RM50.00 of data commitment fee if your client sign up the RM99.I believe Maxis will pull in more data based client..

For now I am tracking my data usage by snapping up pics of the Usage on Data section every fortnightly in the event Maxis decided I have over exceeded the limit.

Actually you were right to say that I am on iValue 100 for 12 mths contract period And I have just terminated the RM99 as I noted the 500MB is more than sufficient.

Noted the comment that for existing iPhone 3G customers will be given at least a RM500 rebate if they wish to upgrade to the iPhone 3GS.

Assuming I intend to get 16GB 3GS model,I will need to fork out e.g. RM1990 - RM500 (rebate) = RM1490.00 to be top up?

By the way,I bought the 8GB Iphone 3G under iValue RM100.00 for 12 mths contract from Maxis KB.

Anyway someone should remove the offer rebate of RM500.00 statement displayed in the middle of Lowyat website...unless it is official.

Hi guys,

Just got a letter from Maxis offering RM500.00 rebate off RRP 3GS Iphone,without the need of any contract.The rebate will be credited into our bill,apportionate over 5 months period.

Anyone wish to enlighten more on this offer?
