@raptar_eric,
The 500MB free data is given to the SIM used when purchasing the iPhone. U don't need to use it with an iPhone to get the free data; just make sure your line remains active will do. |

@tcken,
If u haven't collected the iPhone there's probably still a possibility of swapping plans. And Yes U can change your VP80 to VP50; the VP plans are independent of the iData plans. If you're buying the iPhone via the iData contract, only that plan is contracted and not the VP plan |

@gReeN sOda,
The Service Card is good enough, according to the MEP I purchased my iPhone from. @DaBaD, Just ask them to check; there's a possibility they haven't activated the data package (but that doesn't make sense since it's 1 package)... |

@DaBaD ,
Based on Ken's experience, all U need to do is contact Maxis and ask them to check if your data plan has been activated [as part of your iValue 1 package]. If it's not been activated, tell them to do so immediately and that you were told it is hence you're now disputing the charges *smiles* |

@Jasonjinct,
Hmm.. yeah that could be right, it's a bit more expensive for prepaid users *grins* Ah well.. it's just a suggestion; U can check the pricing on Maxis' website |

@Jasonjinct,
The iData plans are basically for those wanting to purchase the iPhone with a data plan. The monthly plans are no difference; maybe just a bit more expensive as it's not a contract plan hence you can stop the plan anytime U decide to stop. |

@maru,
Er.. bad condition here means there's scratches and all? Am quite sure U won't be able to claim a warranty on that then. U should just be more careful in future. |

@btr999,
U will need to call Maxis to verify the Usage charges. Usage charges are exactly what it is; usage charges. If you're bonded U won't be able to change plans. |

@k3v1n,
It's covered but when U Internet Tether, U may just go overboard and beyond the 500MB usage available in ur plan; if that happens, U will be charged extra. |

@diegoadriadona,
If ur plan has been pre-activated U won't be able to change it but most of the salespeople at Maxis won't pre-activate the plan for U until U collect the iPhone. To be safe, contact the dealer and tell him u like to change ur plan just in case he pre-activates it. |

@crazyivan,
You shouldn't have to do anything to get it activated; to ensure it's working just open an app to see if it works *smiles* |
