but the term indie here in malaysia is overrated.... sorry lah to say....
when u go mainsteam... ure not really an indie band no moar....

OAG= mainstream
Hujan = mainsteam now
Meet Uncle Hussien = mainstream now also
Pop Shuvit = also mainsteam now....

where got indie?
but their genre of music is different from others mainstream local band.. which is good...

the point of Independent band is really to do something different from the typical music label company usually do. usually the music label company goes for the hottest trend of music and never dare (usually) try some experimental music due to the cost.... (yelah... tak laku nanti dierorg yang rugi kan?)

so indie was born....
but if indie gone to mainstream and still stick to their originality.... hey... be my guest... give support.... but honestly.... when u go mainstream..... the band is bound to the company... meaning the music they used to play... will be somewhat lost its touch....

i know there are a lot of good indie band here in malaysia..... better than the mainstream band but dont have the chance to prove it to the world yet... (or they like to stay independent....)

muzik2 experiment kalau dah org ramai suka tapi label music company tak support masih lagi considered independet kan? kalau ikut pengiraan aku izat mmg indie pasal semua pakai duit dia..... indie pon short terms daripada independent kan?

untuk pengetahuan.... indie bukan takat music experiment, punk, hardcore, grindcore, thrash etc.....

yeap... org ingt indie tu genre music.....
