Guys, i wan to ask you all your opinions... i'm planning to get speakers for movie purposes...sumtimes gaming and listening to songs... the lcd monitor is connecting to the desktop... now i wan to get speakers for my comp... what should i get???
for logitech, the z5500 seems to be the best choice as the specs is really good...best of its product line... however, when i look into sony booklet, i notice SONY HT-DDW3000 which is 5.2 while logitech z5500 is 5.1...
z5500 is around 1.2 k while ddw3000 is around 1799...which 1 is better??? any of you guys own this products above??

the sound quality definitely much better , you can audition this speaker first. meanwhile Tat Chuan Audio is the distributor of Klipsch in M'sia. I'm not a sales person, I just give my opinion after I have done massive research btw, do you have an avr? This post has been edited by WereWolf84: Jul 10 2009, 05:31 AM

klipsh better but u need to buy AVR (funtion as amp and receiver) for it. o.O You will need at least 5.5k for it roughly total.
z5500 bass not tight good for basshead. Edifier better from my opinion.

Some Yamaha and Onkyo HTiB's come with AVR+5.1 speakers at your budget range also...
check them out at Harvey Norman.
safe to assume you will get much better sound and upgradability in the future.
Also check out some Pioneer home theater packages.

onkyo or yamaha you don't have to worry about quality la.
way better than sony or logitech (in build quality).
but sound wise i think you get what you pay, the most expensive usually sounds best.
I have listened to the onkyo and its not poor for small rooms. The yamaha also.you need to bring your own dvd / cd and test each one.
in the end the sony model is not a bad choice either.
