i dont understand why so many people are choosing Phil Neville. He was categorised as a defender last season and got so many clean sheet points from it ..he not gonna score high again this year..

Let's put it this way.

Mascherano and Neville both cost $5.

In terms of starting games, both will definitely start almost every games.

But the fact that Neville will be playing DM/Full back means that he will put in more crosses, more into attacking than Mascherano.This will either gain him assists points or points for scoring goals.Even though Neville doesn't score much goals, I bet he will have more assists than Mascherano.

Mascherano, on the other hand, tends to spend most of his time protecting the back four.I watched every match of Liverpool games.I understand the way he plays so I dare to say, if you select Mascherano ahead of Neville, you gonna earn lesser points.He only scored once for Liverpool and that was 2 seasons ago and against Reading..l.Last year, he only had 2-3 assists and only 1 was from league game.The most you can get from him is points for starting, playing for 90minutes and if lucky motm bonus.
