i would liek to knew how can we sent item out of malaysia to overseas like singapore,us,etc!!!!

what we need to do n how do we knew the price for the deliverly???

keep the stuff in a box (recomended) and wrap with brown or white color paper.
For fragile item, you may wrap with bubble wrap for protection.
Recommended seal the external later with celo-tape.
Then bring yr parcel to pos office and tell the office to which country u wan to send.

yep then they'll check the weight and charge you accordingly.

but lastime i ask the item they charges rm90 for sending to australia which the item i sent to malaysia onli rm5.40

Yes, unless ur thing in the parcel taxable, please refer to custom's web for taxable stuffs(if m not sure about custom rule on taxable stuffs, but their web can check, ask uncle google). Btw there's surface parcel & air parcel.

Surface parcel sent via sea and air parcel sent via air. Air parcel price 3 times surface parcel price, however, to further country like USA, might take 1-3 months to reach via surface parcel.

Please note that The International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union does not ascertain any international delivery standard for surface mail. Therefore, only can know the estimated time frame for air mail.

If use EMS poslaju, faster, but price shown in web not include 10% fuel surcharge and 10% handling charges. Some parcel might have to charge according to box size, if too big. And again pls refer if ur stuff taxable or not.

About the packaging to oversea, the time frame normally takes weeks. Advisable if you can wrap them properly. If normal stuff, won't easily break with a lil bit shock/pressure, you can wrap it with the brown paper(with box better), then take your time to wrap the outer side with bigger type of cello tape. All the surface. So that they won't get wet or torn easily before reaching destination.

As for fragile item, request a fragile sticker from POST OFFICE. FREE, if you wanna buy elsewhere also can. You might want to tie them too with rafia or the security tape that available in bookstore(should be placed nearby envelopes/fragile sticker/usually come in a set and cost around RM5 in Jusco). And also bubble wrap it before you wrap with box and brown paper.

*I assumed u wanna send to USA as your example for 0.5kg, to USA. Please note that item weight before and after wrapping is different.

May I know whether post office offer SAL for parcels to USA? I check their website there's no quote for SAL parcels, only SAL letters & small packets.

i need to send a 2.1kg & another 4.5kg and air is too expensive.

Do they offer Registered mail for SAL?

Is there any other company that offer SAL and cheaper rates than airmail?
