I always interested to know the comparison of the quality(price) of the material given for the cabinet door.

There is some info i gathered from contractors and ID, but canot fully confirmed this

chipboard < abs melamin < hardboard < solid/aluminium

cheapest -----------------------------------------> expensive


Am i right?

I just confirm from my contractor, i m getting a solid wood frame with plywood. I dont know the name for this material. and i dun know where to grade my material also.

I also curious to know. Some say ABS is same with solid wood..confused.

this one definitely a wrong guide. ABS is just the lamination by the side of the frame only. What is the material that is laminated inside is not known.

And if they say mdf is equivalent to solid...hahaha ..this is a big big joke.

Cabinet door mainly made by chipboard or MDF board. The later would be better quality ofcourse.

Nyatoh and solidwood are mainly used for doors.
