QUOTE(p3nguin @ Jul 9 2009, 10:11 PM) I can't speak or write chinese to save my life. Have been english educated all my life? Why do you envy people like me? It gets really inconvenient that I can't speak mandarin. I am 100% SK/SMK educated too...But somehow, during Form 3, i started to learn to write Chinese on my own, and because a number of my collegemates, are from Johore, where they normally speak Mandarin, as time goes by, i can understand but still can't speak Mandarin, well.....in many instances, when people speak to me in Mandarin, i reply in Cantonese... |

HAAHAHAHA. Still, i speak Cantonese to them, the difference is, i have to reply twice sometimes, for them to get my message, because i don't think they listen Cantonese that much too |

QUOTE(p3nguin @ Jul 9 2009, 10:50 PM) PTS was nothing compared to what we have to go through nowadays. It wasn't so bad, my school had a special class for all the PTS people, so basically, we were thought at a different rate from the other classes. PTS is not too hard, provided you know your surroundingsCare to show how normal is your normal? Most of the questions, are based on physical things like how the word will be read in reflected glass.......what is that signboard, something like that. |

One path, it is so direct, less vegitation, and it is easier to travel...
The other, it is winding, full of vegitations that blocks the view and certainly, to thread over the path... I choose the latter, and that is my accord, i will not regret...afterall, if i fight for someone, who is worthy... I will not feel sorry for the choice, and i will continue the journey, faithfully, till the point... |
