Omg.. This result is even more embarrassing than Milan's 4 nil defeat by Manchester United.
This is a disgrace to Italian football and a total disgrace and humiliation to Juve fans.... For once we thought that by having Ranieri gone, things will get better.. The situation took a turn for the worse this season!!! This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Mar 19 2010, 06:08 PM |

QUOTE(SnoWFisH @ Mar 22 2010, 10:10 AM) We lost the match against Sampdoria, and ADP decides to take matters into his own hands, the whole team supported him by going ritiro. Now that's what you call a pro-active captain off and on the pitch. A great move by our beloved Capitano... But I doubt it will make any difference. Yes the team showed great unity and spirit by wanting to train a day extra... but sometimes passion, determination and unity is not enough. Our defense is old and disgraceful... Midfield has no cohesion and lacks creativity.. Our strike force lacks pace and are way too static... With strikers like Iaquinta/Amauri.. we need to be playing a formation with wingers.. not through the middle with Diego... We should have been playing: Buffon Cacereas Cannavaro Chiellini Grosso Marchisio Melo Camoranese Diego Giovinco Amauri Added on March 22, 2010, 4:56 pmPlayers we should get rid of: - Chimenti (Contract expires at the end of the season, at age 41, it is high time he retires or join Juve's coaching staff) - Grygera (An average player whom is fast becoming below average) - Zebina (An average player whom is getting worse by the day) - Sahlihadmic (A player way below Juve standard even as a utility man) - Cannavaro (A legend that is way past his prime) - Amauri (A workhorse of a striker, but surprisingly lacks the ability to hold up the ball well, contributed to a host of lost ball possessions) - Trezeguet (Not a player he used to be.. and at the age of 32... his time at Juve is over...) We should not be renewing the loans of: - Candreva (Played with alot of passion and determination, but is an average player at best) - Cacereas (Played with alot of passion and determination as well, but woeful defensively, does not offer great option going forward, injury prone) Board of directors to be axed: - Lapo Elkan - Jean Claude Blanc - Alessio Secco Staff to be axed: - Alberto Zaccheroni (An average manager at best. A sole Serie A title is the only highlight of his career...) - Medical team - Some of the scouts This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Mar 22 2010, 04:57 PM |

Juventus Call Emergency Board Meeting As Frustration Grows - Report Bianconeri chiefs are concerned with the growing trend of negativity at Vinovo... By Salvatore Landolina Mar 23, 2010 1:42:00 PM Juventus have taken the unusual step of calling an emergency meeting in an attempt to salvage what is left of this season, and plan ahead for the next campaign. Tuttosport and Sky Sport Italia claim president Jean-Claude Blanc gathered the board of directors at the club's headquarters in Turin to discuss measures in relation to the future of the team and coach Alberto Zaccheroni. The high-powered reunion lasted over two hours and the agenda focused on strategies to remedy the team's recent malaise. Juve's failures across the Calcio spectrum have not impressed those sitting at the top of the tree, and they want a quick turnaround. No major decisions were taken in terms of restructuring on a football level, but concerns over recent performances were considered. Chiefs also spoke about the club's new main shirt sponsor, which is yet to be announced, and marketing strategies for the future. Meanwhile, the team trained at Vinovo ahead of the clash with Napoli on Thursday. Alessandro Del Piero is set to miss the trip south with an ankle problem. Giorgio Chiellini returns in defence. Some spot on opinion from a fellow Juve fan: Barry Ireland 2:27 PM Mar 23, 2010 What happened to the '5 year plan' of developing youth combined with having a strong mix of experience when we went down to Serie B? Nothing has worked out, they sold a lot of youth, they blew money on Tiago and Almiron (Deschamps wanted Ribery instead) and other flops, they brought in poor managers and try to do everything on the cheap. They have made the club go backwards in the last 2 years. Directors are supposed to guide the club to greatness, not demise, they shouldn't have that title.... |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Apr 15 2010, 11:01 PM) do no....but dat guy DID transform cagliari into 'giant killer' team. If Juve are officially cleared of the match fixing scandals.. We as Juve fans need to help to disseminate the information. Let it be know through forums... Websites comments... football discussion channels you can find. well i hope our incompetent management don't play gamble with Juve future... about the calciopoli II thingy...well if the case goes right Juve could be compensated with around 200m iirc. But IMO any amount will not clear the tarnish on juve crest..the damage already done.. Stripping of two titles were shameful enough.. but the relegation is the most damaging to the club's finances, footballing terms and reputation.. Those who done this must pay to the maximum. |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Apr 16 2010, 10:59 AM) dat two revoked titles doesn't meant a damn to us...coz in every juventino there's always the number 29. ![]() But it is really depressing to see that the team is at this current state. Kena pelted with insults and now eggs... The management is the one who should go.. who should be pelted... Juve clear out: - Antonio Chimenti - Hasan Salihamidzic - Fabio Cannavaro - Zdenek Gyrgera - Jonathan Zebina - Paolo De Ceglie - Tiago Mendes - Sergio Almiron - Christian Poulsen - Amauri - David Trezeguet I would love to have former Bayern Munich manager Felix Magath (Won the German Budesliga with unfancied WFL Wolsburg and now leading Schalke 04 to the brink of another title) as our boss next season. Massimilano Allegri is still an unknown quantity. 2 times Serie A manager of the year he maybe, but he is still unproven at a top club. |

Surprisingly it is true..
And the defeat to Inter really sums up our season. It is a season to forget. But there are serious repercussions if we cant get into the CL (eventhough I admit we dont really deserve it based on the performances so far).. Failure to qualify for the CL will hurt us financially, top players and manager will be even harder to obtain. With our already tarnished reputation... I do hope that the Calciopoli can come to light and that Juve will be cleared of wrong doings.. I hope that there will be a day when the term: "Juve-cheaters" will no longer be heard again This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Apr 19 2010, 09:22 AM |

Haiz.. What to do.. With targetmen, a playmaker like diego should not have been bought in the first place. A 4-4-2 with Iaquinta and Amauri partnership with wingers whipping in crosses makes more sense...
With a playmaker, we need strikers with mobility and pace to latch onto Diego's through balls. Targetmen are too static.. Diego struggled with no movement upfront to thread through balls to... The management just buy the players without thinking on whether they will fit into our tactical system... |

It is not about the quantity of the fans, but the quality..
Most EPL fanboys know nuts about football except the English Premier League, and the players whom played there. Heck, most of them either start watching the league starting from 1996 (Man Utd complete dominance years), or during the Mourinho's Chelsea revolution in 2005. What is the point of having a truck load of these type of fans? Some so called Man Utd fans dont even know their club's former legends and icons for eg.. Bobby Charlton. QUOTE(visionary1993 @ May 23 2010, 04:48 PM) Well it always seems that way that now the team winning will generate more attention as always. Not disregarding other italian threads, we used to have a one whole thread together right? Yup... Inter winning the UCL is a timely boost to Serie A's image... Now I look forward to the revamp at Juve.. I hope with this win, Italian football would be more favourited for players from other leagues. Only way to improve our league as a whole is to get players from other leagues except our own and our youth system which is now slightly deteriorating. It was indeed a gay season for me. Hopefully Serie A and Juventus in particular will bounce back come next season ! A gay season? I dont quite get you haha |

Hello peeps. Juve supporter signing in. I participated in this thread awhile ago, but everyone as well as me grew cold with the lack of participation... Hopefully the new thread will be better, looking forward to it.
