just got my iphone today
since it is still hari raya holiday...not many ppl @ maxis center klcc
so collection is hassle free

booked on 8/21
received on 9/22
model iphone 3gs 16gb black

i guess this fact is known to everybody by now, but just a reminder
when you call maxis hotline (123) to ask for your booking status, they will DEFINITELY give you out of the book answer...

- the maxis center will let you know once available
- there's delay and shortage of stocks
- they are trying to accommodate people booked earlier and you got to wait some more

in fact, i called them 3 times in a day just to listen to different reasons...most interestingly, one of the rep told me that they are still shortage on stocks and there will be another 2 weeks delay...this is when you can say straight to their face - BS!

put pressure on them...ask them about the stocks in the center...have they call and verify with the center? if not, ask them the contact number of the center so that you can check yourself.

hope you guys wont have to wait so long as well...

i call 123 so many times, i told some of my fr which book late than me already  get the phone, they say impossible, ask me the friend contact num , they want check it who realease the phone...i book on 20/8/2009  till now no answer

sorry to hear man...
where did u book ur iphone?
maxis center always got priority in terms of stock...(at least that's what rep over there told me)
and next time...u tell them instead of wasting time calling your friends and check who releases the phone, ask them to track ur phone instead

i think wanna start a facebook group or something to petition apple to give iphone right to celcom or digi
maxis handles the booking terribly

not to mention...who on this earth got sms/call from them saying ur iphone is ready?

means i KL call MUAR or JB or england i need pay ?

i think...and again...i THINK that the free calls is to all LOCAL calls which means MALAYSIA to MALAYSIA
international call (england) lain rate la bro
ur friend at england use 012...also considered local call
don't think they go by region anymore

but better confirm w maxis...anyhow...u can still expect 2 different answers if u ask them
that's why i stay away from ivalue...due to all this "terms" to con u
my recommendation = take the value plus + idata

The iValue Plan included minutes, sms, mms and data is only for domestic consumption. Only applicable for use within Malaysia. Calls made within Malaysia to another number within Malaysia would be charged according to the domestic charges. If you call from Malaysia to an international line, different rates would apply. But it'll be deducted within your commitment fee.

*
r u sure about the commitment fee?
from my understanding is u r paying rm100 monthly to get xx minutes of local calls, xx number of sms/mms, xx mb of data and that's it
other usage out of those will be charged on top of your rm100/mo and out of your own pocket
