i have booked my iphone 3gs 16gb black on 29/8..but then i change my mind the second day. i called to maxis 123 that i want to change the color from black to white...can i know is it can change the color after booking??thx thx...praying hard..hopefully can get the white one...hmm...

ergh~~~finger cross..will call to maxis again...hopefully can change....

i booked at midvalley the garden shopping mall...hopefully wont have the same problem...

just call to maxis center..and they confirmed with me that they already help me to change my phone from black to white..then just now went to maxis the garden to confirm again..at first the cs say cant change the color..but then when i show her my booking receipt and after she help me to check ...yea...FINALLY SHE CONFIRMED WITH ME THAT THEY ALREADY CHANGE MY PHONE FROM BLACK TO WHITE...now i jz need to wait for their sms/call to get my new iphone 3gs 16gb white...yeah...

And, i just back from the garden maxis center....still cant get my phone yet..Booked at 28th August..they said i still have to wait..within 30 days...and they said this week will have new batch coming...guys, if urs book within 20th august then u can go and try ur luck..i jz saw one malay couple get their iphone 3gs...black and white..so envy.....

I think better wait for them to call/sms u lo..otherwise they will ask u to wait again...hmmm....18 days already...13 more days to go....

at this particular point, the anger went top of my head. i demanded to see manager immediately and did not want to speak to this fella (yes, i was rude, but should the staff be rude to a customer?)

6) manager came out, was a nice guy. Still, i was damn angry, and made a scene there. I complaint the attitude of the staff, about the whole booking experience, and the sh*t with notifications. The manager listened and went into check.
7) came out shortly and said, yea, your phone is here, the guy earlier did not check properly.
8) manager gave me a priority service and got my phone in less than 20 minutes time. i forgot about the mystery gift in the midst of it...  doh.gif

so, i booked on 16th Aug, got my phone on 16th Sept after so many words and "pleasantries" exchanged. Totally an unwanted experience.
Maxis, if you are reading this, pls clean up the whole BS... customers really appreciate it.

Apparently that 2 weeks time is from 14 September 2009 official date. So that's 10 days from now. In fact, the 2 weeks is a safe precaution and to manage customer expectations. It could be earlier. So less than 10 days is realistic. For those residing in KL area, no need to scout. There isn't any stocks except for those already reserved for customer who booked at 1x August 2009. Booking date from 2x August 2009 onwards will be delayed.

Yea, same here..just got a called from maxis as well...the ladies say the same thing..will be delay..but i can walk in to get it end of the month...booked on 29th Aug..until end of this month ngam ngam 1 month..10 more days to go...

today is the 28th day i wait for the phone..since i work somewhere near midvalley..then today after work straight go maxis try to get the phone...while waiting..there is one cs come to me and ask me im paying bill or??then i say collect iphone..then he ask from me the receipt and check for me...then he go in and come back to me ask me whether im booking black one or white one...actually on 28th aug i booked the black one..then second day i call them and said i wan to change to white one..one week after they change for me and print a new receipt which shows that i book the white one..today they ask me again..so i just say i book the white one..then he ask me got call or sms o not..i just say someone call me ask me come to collect..(but actually no one call me or sms me)...then he go in and check check again...and come out which my phone already....hehe...
