i have booked my iphone 3gs 16gb black on 29/8..but then i change my mind the second day. i called to maxis 123 that i want to change the color from black to white...can i know is it can change the color after booking??thx thx...praying hard..hopefully can get the white one...hmm...

that will not happen.

only thing which may worry you is, cracks are more prominent on whites.

with black, even if there were superficial ones, you will not be able to spot them with ease.

Tried my luck at Gardens' Maxis Centre this morning, still cannot get. Booked 3G S 32GB black on August 25th. So I can only get it on Friday, the 25th when cukup bulan.

This morning I heard there are more 16GB models available, 32GB not yet.

Booked mine on 9th sept and got a call from maxis today and collected just now. Never call for status or anything because i expect at least 2 months to receive it. Very good service maxis ampang point.

just back from maxis taman segar with my iphone 3gs 32gb white  . made some noise about my booking with non existance in their database. the cs then goes in and got the iphone for me. anyway i booked it on 28th august

You have to wait then. Try again on sept 27 or 28. When ask have you receive call, just say yes and you've been advice by maxis to collect it within that 30 days period.

booked on 1st of sept  but still nothing yet. the guy at the MEP @ MV told me now there is a shortage worldwide and i may have to wait around 30 to 45 days from the booking date... he said i just have to wait as they will give me a call once new stock arrive but i told him i'll follow up again in 2 weeks time..

personally i don't think it worth it to go all the troubles of making noises and whatnot. sure, i want my iphone asap but not to the point that i want to waste my precious time to go all the way to MV just to scold and shout at them.. i read that some of u even take time off every other day just to kacau them.. wow.. im impressed hehe..

anyway as long as it wont exceed the 45 days, i'll wait patiently cuz i dont think im desperate lol. just do other things to keep you busy la, time will fly~

i went 3 times because they cant confirm i have booked for the iphone or not(i booked on 28th august).so the 4th time i went there i told them i want to check my confirmation again but the result they gave me that they DUN have my booking in their database.i was angry and demand that they rectified my problem.. the cs indian gal name sarawaty (if spell correctly) went in the office and voila the white box written 3gs was in front of me  ... so i am lucky to complaint the 4th time and got what i wanted... try to look for the indian gal. she works efficiently than that gal name yana!!

today is the 28th day i wait for the phone..since i work somewhere near midvalley..then today after work straight go maxis try to get the phone...while waiting..there is one cs come to me and ask me im paying bill or??then i say collect iphone..then he ask from me the receipt and check for me...then he go in and come back to me ask me whether im booking black one or white one...actually on 28th aug i booked the black one..then second day i call them and said i wan to change to white one..one week after they change for me and print a new receipt which shows that i book the white one..today they ask me again..so i just say i book the white one..then he ask me got call or sms o not..i just say someone call me ask me come to collect..(but actually no one call me or sms me)...then he go in and check check again...and come out which my phone already....hehe...

erm it appears that the 1st week of september booking will get their iphone soon....

hurray....

let me share with you what i did that hopefully you may use the same method to claim your iphone.

My due date after waiting for 30 days is 27th Sept, actually they already called me that my iphone will be delayed 2 weeks later.
So on the 28th Sept i went to maxis centre and i told the staff straight that i am here to collect my iphone (of cos i present my booking receipt lar), then she check her list but my name was not there, then i told her that the maxis HQ called me to collect my phone. At the same time i mentioned that my fren booked later than me has already collected the iphone (this is bull shit lar)...

And in the end she bring me my iphone.... here i have my iphone hehe

Thanks to Jimmy (a guy from this forum taught me this method to claim my iphone)

Darn! Sounds like only those who keen, complaint day and night then can get their phone earlier. For those who silent and just waiting for MAXIS call to pick up person will just been ignore. Time to fire up my complain now.. Else might as well need to wait 3-4 MONTHS instead of week.

Mine reached 30day sharp by next Thursday, if they still didnt give me any update (until now, i didnt get any SMS / CALL) i will just approached to the center and demand for it.

P/s: LONG LIFE! Few secs after post this thread, and i got the call from Maxis. A girl name Tina called up and ask regarding on my booking status. She request for my reference number, name and said she will trace this matter up with kuching branch maxis center and call me back, Probably tomorrow. I did ask about why some of buyer could have their iphone earlier and why were not. But the girl remain silent. Anyways, i did shoot up another question about what if i wanna upgrade my current 16GB to 32GB. will i got the phone faster then 16GB. Knows what the girl tell? "Sir, if u would like upgrade ur current 16GB to 32GB, we would have to cancel ur current 16GB booking and placing in a new booking! Which mean, u have to wait for another 30day!" OMG!

Hi, I booked my iPhone on the 22nd of September and I collect it today (8 days). I booked mine from Mac Studio at the PJ Digital Mall.

I was worried I had to wait 30 days but I got a pleasant surprise when I got a call today. Overall good service from the guys at the shop.
