Wanted to get a iPhone 3G 8gb from Maxis Cheras this afternoon. But they were out of stock.. Any idea where are other nearby Maxis centres which might have stocks?

What's the booking form like? Would love to see as I only have a official receipt but no booking numbers/model/colour.

Putraskyline: 14 days to 30 days from the day you booked. That's what Maxis said.

Hoegaarden: I think you will have to wait for another month when the stocks for 3Gs are up which means no more pre-booking for the 3Gs.

QUOTE(lotus_man @ Sep 6 2009, 03:17 PM) hi, i need to know about the package. can anyone please explain to me. lets say i would like to purchase the iValue 2 24month period for 16gb 3gs. it says i get d iphone for 1290 rite? n pay a monthly fee of rm155. what is prepayment den?? n free 667 mins calls to? maxis only or anyone? lotus_man: Yes, you get to buy the iPhone @ RM 1290 and monthly fee is RM 155 for the plan. 667 mins calls are to any telco in Malaysia. The prepayment is paid upfront and it will then be divided in to 5 months equally and credited back to your monthly bill. So, prepayment is RM 620 / 5 = RM 124. Everyone month until the 5th month, your monthly bill will minus RM 124.

lotus_man: Tell them you wanna book the iPhone 3Gs and they would ask what plans you choosing, the colour and how many years contract. Booking fee is RM 200. When you collect your iPhone on the day itself, you just pay the iPhone price and deduct RM 200 from it. The RM 200 is like a deposit but it will be minus out from your iPhone price when you collect and pay. That's all.

lotus_man: Yes you will have to pay RM1090 only for the iPhone itself. But there is another prepayment which is Rm 620 for 24 months iValue 2. It will be credited back to your monthly bill evenly for 5 months.
So when you collect, you pay Rm 1090 (for iPhone) + RM 620 (prepayment for 5 months) = RM 1710.
RM 620 / 5 = RM 124 So, the for the first 5 months of your monthly bill, you minus out RM 124 from the bill.
