You serious?? s*r*w maxis, if you have so much surplus, why aren't you giving any stock to machines? i"ll stick with the prepaid plan, no way am i gonna sign a contract with them. after this i want nothing more to do with maxis.

which maxis did you go to? you sign a contract? or you just bought and left?

which maxis outlet? iphone 3gs rite?

Do you fellas think we should start a poll?  At least like User,  Date booked, Booked at, Model, SMS/Email, Waiting Period, Date Collected?
                                                                         
And once you get your unit, just come over to this forum, come and fill up.  It'll help ease the frustration of figuring out on the delivery...and if yours get overshot, maybe u can use this to complain.

Maybe a VIP customer?

Does anyone collect his iPhone with fully sealed and go home to activated by self?
I want to know is it hard to activated?

call alot of times ...told me the same thing..no stock ..they told me either i wait or juz refund only ..wth ..

Collected the iPhone yesterday, never connect/sync with PC at all. Just switched on and to our surprise in the App store someone’s itune a/c has already login. At the bottom there “Account: ****@gmail.com”. The maxis staff unwrapped and unboxed the iPhone in front of us and she activated it on the spot. Could we have gotten a refurbished/secondhand unit?

Our suspicion arose because there has been a mistake on the booking date, my brother and I booked the iPhone on the 27 of August and due to some misunderstanding between the centre staffs they cancel our booking halfway through the waiting period, our booking is not in the system when we demand for the iPhone on the 26 of Sept since is already 30 days. They have iPhones arrived on the day but they told us all had already been tagged with customer names. However, they assure us on the spot that they will follow up with Headquarter and arrange a special unit for us by next week. Indeed they managed to give us the phone yesterday after I received a call in the morning that the special arranged iPhone is here. Could the ‘special’ unit be none other then a refurbished/secondhand unit? Hope you guys can share your thoughts.

hahaha...the real priority is for VIP n Corporate User....Ur 'contract tied' is under VIP n Corporate user...someone can write to Apple why maxis sooo sux...we need better services...other distributor is brilliant if Malaysia have it...

That might be, but would they not do a reset and clear the settings on the phone? Maybe, maybe not.. I think it is better to consider all options.. perhaps the original poster could let us know the email address of the account? So when some of us who goes and activate the phone see the same email on the phone then we know it could be because of the activation..?

Yeah it is real true n U have prove it ...hope other company will distribute Apple next gen devices...
