i think you should go demand for your phone, even if they really don't have it, at least you're putting pressure on them.

put the money in your savings account, and just go ask, if they have it, then go atm loh. although it'll be easier with a credit card.

yeah, i was a loyal digi customer for 5.5 years, and now i change to maxis. actually i got the prepaid plan, but after culculations, and realizing that i could save a bit over the next 12 months if i go for ivalue 1, i made the switch when i went to collect my iphone. my whole family are digi users, now i'm the only odd one out.

I'm using SGP Ultra Thin. it fits perfectly, the only con is that it doesn't cover the metal area, other then that, it's a great case, imo. it feels great too. btw, i think this the wrong thread to discuss this.

I think outright purchase mean without a contract, and the only plan that falls in that catogary os the prepaid plan, so I think that means no more prepaid plans until furthur notice. Typed this on iPhone 3GS.

i booked at the same place but on 12/8 with a machines receipt, and i got it already, you should have gone to make noise much earlier. just make a scene there, say things like worldwide shortage still want to do booking, ask to see the manager and make them promise you a collection date. just a suggestion, you can ignore it, but do go and give them pressure.

yeah, i got it, it was still there around mid august, a few days after i booked, then bam, gone...but i switched to iValue 1 when i picked up the phone anyway. so i guess i was one of those lucky bastards that would rather be tied up and whipped, then to roam free.

The picture they provided was a maxis shop, so i assume that it will be a maxis set, maybe you can go check it out.

Maxis Exclusive Partners, there were a few forumers here that managed to get pre-paid, but I'm not sure which one they went to, it's somewhere in this thread, around page 40-80 i guess. or you try using the search engine, search for "iphone 3gs prepaid RM500". cause I remember there's one guy that got the prepaid plan, but had to pay RM500 pre-booking fee.

bro, chill lah. they show you face? next time you go there, remember you are a consumer, and you have rights, they show you face, demand to see "upstairs" and complain about the horrible service, and threaten to file a complain against them. make a lot a lot of noise, until they are scared of you.

the 500mb is for edge/gprs usage, so when you surf using edge/gprs, you are using your free 500mb data. please correct me if i'm wrong.

you booked aug 3rd and still havent got your phone yet? i booked 12/8 at machines klcc, and i got mine on 16/9, just about a month, do you bug them a lot, like spam their email, call them everyday, show your face there?

he booked from machines, so he can only bug machines loh, maxis won't entertain him. I don't really know how to advise you on this one though, cause i just paid by credit card. other forummers here should be able to help you.

yeah, RM2390 is reasonable, imo. a brand new outright purchase set from maxis is RM2490. If you like it, and the unit is in good condition, then why not?

i think you've waited too long, almost 2 months, or maybe you can pay maxis a visit, ask why isn't machines getting any stock, and you've booked yours on 3 august, in 5 days time, that will be 2 months. Say that people that booked later than you have already gotten their iPhones. if they ask for prove or anything, do let me know, i'll see if i can help.

In Malaysia, I don't think a verbal contract is standing, anyway, if you've waited for 30 days, why don't just continue waiting? If you don't like the waiting so much, then why did you opt to pre book an iPhone?
