I pre-booked mine there too, on 12/8. What confirmation? When I paid the rm200, they just said, wait for their call, and then bring the official receipt to machines to collect. Are we supposed to get a confirmation from maxis?

I'm not sure, but as for the first batch prebookers, they will get the confirmation once they place their order through online.

You booked yours at the road show right? so i think you only need the receipt. I think the confirmation is for those who ordered online.
But I'm not sure, if you know anything, please let me know, thanks in advance.

Booked mine on 15th Aug at Gardens MV and like everyone else was told to wait 30days and I asked the manager is 30days he mentioned guaranteed and he politely said no.

So since the moment I left the Maxis center... I've already conditioned my mind, heart and soul to expect to get it mid of Sep at the earliest.

PS. They also didn't mentioned anything about a confirmation... just say wait for them to call me and thats it.

Tinkerbel, you booked so early, you should have the phone already. Did you check with your center to confirm or you just waiting for them to call you?

I am sure stocks for 1st batch bookers already arrived.

first batch stock confirm arrived on 18th august. They're distributing slowly. July people should go to their center and get it. I think those in July who didn't get may have miss the collection phone call or they miss your name on the list.

Infact July bookers phones are already in Machines 1Utama since the 16th August. Except that Maxis supplied Machines 1Utama 5 unit less. And I'm 1 of the 5.

You're absolutely right; am beginning to wonder whatever happened to my booking but I'm still being 'quarantined' at home so it makes no difference whether or not the i3GS of mine has arrived or hasn't. It'll be good if I could get it so I could return my friends i3G I've been using since I gave up my i3GS.

No point. I already did so. Spoke to 3 CS managers and yet they say they will follow up regrading this case and nothing has been done.
Until the last manager I spoke to, he said there's nothing I can do but to wait for their call.

Well got a call, had been busy these few days on work and of course scolding them Maxis and SACC people, finally got a call from the manager on Tuesday, "promised" me either this week or next. Anyway I filed a complaint with SKMM with some demands. Maxis called me last night clarifying the situation, said they'll (Maxis) call me today. The manager of SACC called me just now, said so "sorry" (sigh) cannot make it this week, "promises" me again next week.

Oops.. I didn't read the "5 less" - so when did U make your pre booking payment?! I don't think I'm even in the list of the 5 since I paid mine rather late

29th. And I'm 2nd last on the 2nd batch list.

Btw, you asked about SKMM earlier. SKMM stands for Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM).
