got my IPHONE 3GS today at GARDEN MAXIS

they are trying to clear 40 units or more  per day !!

maxis really unfair one..like my sister friend,when the time she buy,straight get the phone on the spot..wth..

but in another way, the outlet should not let the phone go since the supposed owner has "booked" it with a deposit...

all this commotion bout having insufficient stock is a lil too much ...

i decided to get one this weeks tuesday and spoke to a friend who works there, and he managed to get hold a unit for me, i can choose 16gb or 32gb and any color, apparently these are stocks for their vip or special customers(who knows suddenly comes in one day and wants an iphone) - so they keep bunch of these ...

so i got mine on wednesday ...

i think there are tons more they are holding back ...

no deposit paid or anything, went there spoke to him, took a number and paid and left ...

am existing maxis customer, yes bought it under value 1 plan .... pay and left lo ...

Hey, i'm also just ordered my iphone today at gardens too, hopefully it won't take a month of period. I still hope that the maxis will restock faster back as normal. God bless..........

during KLCC roadshow ..they issued me a machines receipts ..
already gave many calls to maxis n machines at klcc ledi ....still no sign of stock distribute to machines KLCC ..siennn!!

i called maxis AGAIN today, they told me those who ordered during 12th Aug 09 - 18th Aug 09 for Iphone 3GS 16GB will have a delay for 2 week on the stock ....

that's all i knw ...

oh thanks ya..so fed up with the long q for 3gs le..maybe will go for this 8gb 3g ask my phone already spoiled..using my old Nokia now.

I will just wait till the end of this month for them to release the prepaid package ... or else that's it... I give up getting one ... waited for so long all the hype of getting one is gone

If celcom also get the licence to deal with Apple Iphone, guess maxis won't be doing this kind of strategy at all.

Let just hope miracle will happen before and after raya... sick of waiting for Iphone 3GS. The longer the wait makes us sour about Iphone's.....

GOT MY IPHONE 3GS!!!

I booked from Orange MEP!~ yesterday i called them and ask is my phone available for me to pick up yet! then they said will confirm for me and call me back!
then today morning i just woke up rdy to get to work then received their called and ask me to pick it up at Ampang Point!! Get my cash and collect my baby iPhone before this friday!! yipee!! 

Booked: 22 August
Place: Sunway Hotel RoadShow
Plan: iValue 1
Phone: 32gb iPhone Black
Call/sms: got called at morning on 15 september
waited: 22 days

Bro, maybe you should challenge them why other MEP able to still give us stocks to their customers why you still waiting?And can ask them usually each batch come in got how many phones and in the booking list, you are number wat?

i went to maxis center when i book my phone, i demand concrete answers from them rather than let ppl hanging...and the maxis pretty lady told me i'm number 11th in the booking list now...so hope can get the phone when 5th batch come in...unless the 5th batch only got only 10phones, then i will go screw maxis again definitely!

ehh bro, juz now i called machines ..they told me theirs stock now is out for pre-booked customer on 12 Aug 09 ...try give a call to them n check yourself ...

i called around 9pm+ juz now ...purposely call to kacau them and pressure them abit to faster their job ...then they told me right now they giving out those customer who booked at 12th Aug 09 ..that's wat they told me lar ..duno can trust or not ..

i think u giv a call tmr morning to confirm 1st then only u go ..if not waste ur parking money, tol, petrol n mood ..haha

I want to ask you guys something, cause even i dont know this.
Firstly, i already received my iphone on the 20 something of last month, my 3gs 16 gig black.
Now this is the thing, my friend has a corporate account, and he has all the signatures to change his plan to iValue2 for a year.
Now this is what maxis is telling him and indirectly they are lying right out!
The iValue 2 for a year is 1790 wiyh the rm 200 deposit.
They are asking my friend to pay the rm 200 deposit and when he collects his phone he has to pay 1990 meaning he needs to pay an additional 200 as well!
-The additional 200 will not be deducted.
-This is the best part of the whole experience and its a good thing he recorded this call, the maxis Klcc manager also told him that I paid 1990 when i collected the phone meaning, 200 deposit and an additional 200 when i collected it.
-Thats a blatant lie, is this a new rule or something? I have no idea about this as when i collected my phone for 1 year , iValue 2, i paid 1790 at Maxis Klcc.
-Sigh if anyone of you guys have heard of this let me know.
-My friend is a Maxis corporate user.

Just to reclarify, I paid a deposit of 200 and paid 1790 .

They are asking my friend to pay 200 deposit and 1990 for the phone when he collects it. The additional 200 they he paid when he collects his phone will not be deducted in his phone bill.

If book from Machines, have to wait quite long.
