Finally.... I got my iphone 3gs from ipoh maxis centre. Booked on 25 aug and collect it today. If actuall fact the phone suppose to hand over to someone today and since the person haven't collect it, i'm taking it! Now the waiting period is within 30 to 45 days. Good luck. Current stock is fw 3.01

YES YES!!! my phone is ready to be collected at last... just called over and the girl said now she's doing the porting from digi to maxis, can go over tomorow

my friends in muar they ask the maxis promoter .... she say iphone 3gs dont support writing chinese and read chinese words is this RIGHT ?
but i ask maxis promoter in KL they say no problem and i am confuse now..... Y.Y help me pls thanks you

btw...iPhone OS can type more language than regular phone does...
its in the settings of keyboard, jz need to go enable them....

it supports chinese.

i have seen students from the mainland china writing chinese characters on the iPhone before.

If u got me an iPhone 3GS as a pressie I definitely wouldn't scold u even if it can't support Chinese [then again I don't read/write Chinese~ HAHA]

And Yes.... it supports Chinese! Even Korean/Japanese/etc.

just received a call from Maxis bcoz i sent email to them 2 days ago.. i want to get my iphone about 4-5days earlier than 1-Oct (booked 1-Sep) bcoz i need to use it on 27-Sep.. the guy in the phone told me that worldwide shortage as usual.. and he said he cant promise me but he will contact the maxis centre that i booked to speed it up...

and he said that latest on 1-Oct, i will get the phone..

same, last week i was so happy getting calls from maxis. but it was just bull shit regarding my email complain and nothing special from them. telling same shit over and over again, world shortage blah blah. I question them about giving out free phones to school and the operator claims that she doesnt know abt dat =.=

It seems like calling 123 won't help much. That's why i end head down to maxis centre to get it. They did ask had you receive phone call, i said yes! Even told them that maxis cs advise me to apporach maxis to collect when almost 30 days.

it seems everyone that booked at MEP Ampang Point can get their iphones in 2 weeks. Including mine

Bleh I booked mine on 13th September ... though seriously its not looking hopeful that I will get it in a month, judging by the stories on here..

just back from maxis taman segar with my iphone 3gs 32gb white . made some noise about my booking with non existance in their database. the cs then goes in and got the iphone for me. anyway i booked it on 28th august

i booked 2 iphone on 16 and 24 august still no news. went there and still mumbling about worldwide shortage. lost interest already with maxis. sigh.
call up few days back 123 CS still disappointing.
