QUOTE(nm7 @ Feb 6 2015, 02:54 PM) The show already has a huge production budget. They won't be able to just afford any new or almost new car and not get told off by the top people in BBC. true, but the cars are all insured right. plus, I can't imagine they torturing those cars until it became worse than the orange car (the Zenvo from Season 21)Furthermore, most of the cars that are new that they include in the show are very likely to be borrowed from the automakers themselves. |

good point. although, knowing the presenters, if something bad happen to the cars, they'll just lie and, using camera editing, produce believable evidence.
suddenly remembers James' Lambo during their Romanian trip. haha |

QUOTE(kadajawi @ Feb 7 2015, 05:07 AM) Do you remember car football? They wrecked like a dozen of new cars for that. As long as the cars they use are cheap enough...? On some cheap car challenges they wrecked cars that are quite expensive... the last one for example. Those classics shouldn't be too cheap, can buy a baseline Golf for that maybe? And if you go mildly second hand you can get a reasonably speced one. I don't think they had to pay for the Corolla. Jeremy's reasons was pretty convincing. Haha They also in the last season or two wrecked a rental Toyota Corolla... I'm pretty sure they had to pay for the car. Explain what happen during the accident. A MANIAC was coming the other way. Who do you think is responsible for the accident? HIM! HIM! He was MAD! |

Tonight! Richard tests a van, I drive an old brown Porsche, and James uses a telephone.

QUOTE(alpha0201 @ Mar 2 2015, 08:30 AM) My fav quote in S22 E06. It seems like the main motivation for Hammond was his hatred for the other two. I can see that hatred when he cleared that twig for his fire. Haha.Hammond: And if you want to write to the BBC, and said "This is some rare type of tree, and has to be preserved" you can stick it up your arse! |
