btw it should be Fernando Hierro to me, he have cool ever penalty, he just make a slow penalty kick but GK always dive to the wrong side

I think Thierry Henry has one of the best conversation rate. During his Arsenal time, i only remember him missing 2 penalties from the dozens that he took.

Germans don't miss penalty

i also cant find his penalty compilation, but from wiki stat he score 130 goals for Spain and Madrid (it a superb record consider he is CB) and i believe half of it come from PK, i watch his game since WC94 until he retired (he play for Bolton around 2005), he will take penalty for Spain and Madrid if he on the pitch and i only watch him miss penalty once

I liked Paulo Di Canio because he had the balls to take cheeky penalties. These days the stakes are so high, players tend to either blast them into the top corners, or place them into the bottom ones. Paulo would occasionally lob them over the keeper. He was incredibly calm in high pressure situations. I guess being a bit of a loon helps. He may not have been the best, but he was creative.

Shearer was cool as ice as well.

I remember there was one season where his penalties kept getting saved. He almost always placed it at bottom left (right for the keeper). And who can forget the one that was saved against Arsenal that prompted Martin Keown's gorilla-like goading

My money's on Danny Murphy and Hierro.

Ah yes I remember that now. But I dunno if you can judge how good a PK taker is based on one season. I don't think he's ever missed a PK for us. Hierro was good but Figo was our selected PK taker last time so I dunno if you can consider him the best. Figo had this interesting stuttering run up before he made the kick. I know Cristiano has tried to copy him but he just can't seem to pull it off as well as Figo

The Germans seem to be very efficient in converting their spotkicks. Wish we could say the same about the English haha.

Zidane's penalty in the 2006 World Cup Final alone deserves a special mention.

What Do you think abaout GEIZKA MENDIETA..? Can't remember he miss PK.. Last time EURO 2000 he miss chance as the 5th PK taker coz Spain lost before 5th PK.. He's cool.. Not really as beutiful shot PK.. But just observe the keeper.. Place it to the net..
