for me, I will go for the best "future proofing" option.....full hd!

Rule number one....never listen to a salesperson tongue.gif

Go with Sony. W series got 10-bit panel meaning it can display up to 1024 shades of gray instead of 256 only for 8-bit panel. Better dark scene. Not to mentioned the higher resolution of full HD is way better to use with PC.

my opinion..
looks wut u want to use for...if for gaming and computing, i think better full hd....but if just to watch tv, hd ready is enough for now.....for future, maybe u want to buy another set rite?

10bit is useless now. it looks good "theoretically" on specs only.

Added on July 8, 2009, 5:51 pmTS, so sorry the info i gave u was wrong. klv 32w400a is using 8-bit panel and not 10-bit doh.gif but i will still go with this sony over lg as full hd is the better choice to use with ur pc.

ok... the 400a model is around 1800 - 1850..while lg is around 1599 without free gift...and 1699 with free gifts and extend 1 year warranty..for 550a model is over priced...even the specs is good...100hz...making the pictures nicer...but for 32 fhd is 3500 ++...double the price...
