Bro, Copy Cat ?

I don't think they copy from LEGO, but i think this something like puzzle.

Actually, we can see many coolerpad in market, their design almost the same, some even same outlook but only packing
and brand difference. like Vizo & Sensonic...CM & Vtez etc..

Bro, i am CM supporter also, my PC case, power supply, and case fans all from CM.
even my notebook cooler also from CM.

but, i also interested this special design coolerpad, because its so unique.

i buy this coolerpad, not only for my notebook, but for my PS2 playstation also. tongue.gif tongue.gif
and when i go out, i will take this coolerpad rather than my CM, because its portable and easy to put inside my bag. icon_rolleyes.gif

Just another LEGO follower or worse...copy cat with some "creative idea" and apply on coolerpad.... if i were you, i rather spent a little bit more on Cooler Master(mini Cm only cost RM40+, Big one cost RM80+and its aluminium) rather than a piece of "ABS"...

No offend, but its really not my cup of tea... design too fragile and not funny at all....

May be good for LEGO fans... doh.gif

This coolerpad can use for 7" ~ 17".
please see properly, its can use 6pcs or 4pcs only.

many cooler pad made of plastic or Acrylics, so do you got any comment for that kind of products?

I think the tsunami guy just want to show us that the products not copy cat as you said before.
but i feel that we are not sharing the information here but just......"WAR" rclxub.gif

In the market, so many products the design and feature are not practical.
so what is your comment ?

if you don't like this product, its unnecessary to argue here.
you can out from here also....

sometimes, the products won't satisfy all the consumer,
like some people like Acer, some like Compaq, some like Dell.

One Man's Meat is Another Man's Poison.

just my 2 cents bro. I'm sorry if my comment has offended some of the brothers.
Please be cool.

Agree and support what Phantom point of view !  nod.gif

Besides that it seems the design are solely focus on the "outlook" by trying to project it to the public as something cute and funny; as a commercial product, perhaps thats the only way for the product to be differentiate from other common top brands available in the market currently in order to attract buyer.

Another funny part is , its seems this item is made of ABS ..... does ABS playing any significant role in reducing heat from a laptop OR speed up the heat transfer between the laptop connection part and the cooler part ?????? Definately ABS is NO.

Aluminium is still the best material when come to heat absorb / transfer rate, with extra advanctages being very light and very solid too.

Lastly, the sizes is kind of huge too....can fit 19-21 laptop easily, but with nowadays common laptop sizes are mainly 10-14".... who need such a "huge square puzzle" ????

It will be good if you have something smaller and compact with better heat dissipation material. Well, can't expect much if its cost less than RM60.

But with RM60...... there are many range of good laptop cooler still availale on the shelf to choose from, isn't ? doh.gif

How to Choose a Good Notebook / Laptop Cooler

Check the Ventilation of your Laptop or Notebook

The position of the vents and their ventilation method is the most important information you will need in choosing a good laptop cooler. It’s because your laptop’s ventilation is its primary cooling system and the cooler you choose should be complimenting or helping it.

1. The most common ventilation method is that there are one or two air intakes in the bottom of the laptop (air is being sucked in), and there are one or two air exhaust vents at the back side of the laptop – as shown in the illustration below.

Attached Image

Since we already know where the air intakes and exhaust are, the laptop cooler we should buy should complement the already existing ventilation of the laptop.

An effective laptop cooler would push air up to the intake vents of the laptop. If a mat like the ThermaPack or a laptop stand is to be used, it should at least allow air to the intake vents.

** So that one fan is enough !!

Taking a closer look at the vents…

Other laptops or notebooks have more vents (usually those with a graphics card).

Make sure the cooler you choose to buy takes advantage of the multiple air intakes of the laptop. The laptop cooler should push air to the a intake or most if not all air intakes.

2. A less common ventilation method is the exact opposite of what I’ve recently shown. The air intakes are at the side or at the back, and the exhaust is at the bottom.

Attached Image

If this is the case, there should be enough space between the laptop and the surface from where it’s placed. A laptop cooler which pushes air up to the bottom of the laptop shouldn’t be used as this would conflict with the ventilation of the laptop (It might push the hot air back to the laptop). You could however, place a small USB powered fan at the air intakes located at the bottom or side of the laptop.

3. Another ventilation method is where there are no air intakes but there is an exhaust located at the back or the side. These are mostly seen in Mac notebooks.

Laptop coolers which suck or pull air at the bottom of the laptop and release it at the side or back of the cooler are appropriate for laptops with this kind of ventilation. Mats with some kind of special gel which act as heat absorbers and distributors (like ThermaPak) can be used as well. They work extremely well for these kinds of notebooks.
